In my opinion, there is no need to buy NFTs as a long-term investment. A very big problem with investing in NFTs is the illiquid nature of the market. You may be forced to lower the selling price of your NFT and wait days or weeks before a buyer shows up. Perhaps your NFT will not be of interest to buyers at all in the future.

I don't think there is NFT for the long term, but it depends on how useful the NFT is, if the platform with NFT access can be used for the long term the NFT can also automatically grow in the long term.
