a huge number of altcoys do not represent anything and die, but there will always be coins that have a great future
i am losing hope for my alt coins because they lost their 30% value in last two weeks. I am planning for my last investment on wan chain
Of course it is still there because ICOs on every project have been improved for the progress of the project and its development and to seek out investors in order to increase buyers' appeal and increase sales. That's my opinion.
Cryptocurrency is just beginning to enter into everyday life, so no one dies. You just need patience, if it is not, then you better not enter the sphere of crypto-currencies.

Crypto currency market is in bear trend, some will survive some will not in alt coins. Gone those days were new project give x2 - x10 easily due to hype and fomo. I guess only project will survive are the ones who are legit some will completely be worthless. Investing in new project now should need a lot of patience.

In my opinion, only those not legit coins in the market are going to die due it's poor dev team and poor support from its community. The only coin will remain are the strongest, in a way that they have a good statistics in the cryptocurrency market. Highest trading volume and market cap will be retained as a good standing in the market, which means that the investments of the people are secured.

I think that this is only temporary, reliable projects with strong teams will not die !!!
ALT coins /ICO are new to the market, with the Volatility on the market on every trading, we can see the ups and down on the treed. if you check the Emerging ICO posted on the ALT Coin wall, it increase the number almost every week. and this is a significant factors to look into for ALT Coins.
In fact, most altcoins nowadays are likely to make you lose money. This year's market is very bad and altcoins seem hopeless.I still recommend buying more bitcoins and buying less altcoins.

The hope for altcoins is always there, there are so many cool projects, you just have to find one the have good team behind it and not just some one who is half doing his work, thats really important
Altcoins is the base of crypto currency so hope is always there for altcoins ifprice of bit coin rise ultimately price of alt coin rise all investor start with alt coin and slowly reaches the height of btc alt coins is the gate way of crypto currency market so it will alive and be in the market.

Myself is still hoping for tghe increase price of alternative coins . Im still hoping positive things wil happen in bitcoin and they will prioritize to use alternative coins as a subtitute of natural coins. 
Yes, should hope from altcoins because 2018 is the year of crypto and at end of 2018 you will see the growth of altcoins.
