Only those ico which have very promising project to offer have the chance of surviving. For ico to be effective you must need some regulation to control them. I think self financed funds are the need of hour where promoter themselves fund the major portion. Another prospect is paying the bounter in term of usd or eth on time is the need of hour

The cause of most of the troubles of ICO projects is the fall in the price of their tokens immediately after the end of ICO and the placement of tokens on the stock exchanges. I'm also not so sure about that. things became very serious than all of us thought. I saw many ICOs stop their future progress and refund their funds collected. Some projects completely dead without further notifications. but some projects still live and they continue their progress even in this market condition. But it's very hard to survive in this condition. but there are still many new projects appearing.
I think there is still an opportunity for ICO, but it is also difficult when in the bad time of this market the opportunity is very little. There must be a guarantee for ICOs to let investors believe and participate.

I don't think so, when I buy ico its like gambling because we can't read the price of the coin, we also can't trust the whitepaper because each project will write extraordinary things on their wp but the actual product might not be the same as our expectations .
Market conditions are now really not very good, but still ICO may well sell their products!
Poor market conditions are not the only reason why ICO tokens have not been registered in the exchange. The worst reason is a scam, which is why I prefer STO which has a clearer company and legal entity.

I think that it is a very bad time for conducting ICO now. People- investors are will not to pay their money in new projects; this is a very economically unstable time now.
Projects should lower their greed. I remember the time when great projects have been born without collecting money from investors and when people coded something in garage without any investors. Is it really necessary to collect millions for any kind of project well I don't think it is. Opportunities for ico will always be there if ico can be improved, a good team is very necessary if you want ico to be successful and suck a lot of investors, last year many ico failed and scam, we hope that in the future there will be improvements for ico so that all can run normally
