I'm afraid of death, going under the earth and not waking up again that feeling haunts me some nights but there is nothing I do. I try to think about it more when I get that feeling and try to get used to it.

I am afraid to die because of my kids. They are still too young to be left.

For me i am not afraid to die because we all know that we will die in the end , but for me even if i am not afraid to die i do not rush it. Living with our life is happy , and we must live our life to its fullest make a happy memories with people around us and close to us , and when the time comes that we reach our end , there are memories to remember.

Everyone is afraid to die of course! but I am more afraid to die knowing that I did not accomplish what I want to do with my life or worse dying alone in an alley in the night asking for help... that for sure it is the worst feeling ever Huh

The short answer to the question you posed would be no. You might be wondering why I wouldn't be afraid given how many people fear the unknow... For me, and I'd like to believe for many others, death holds no power over us because eventually all will die. What worries us most is, are we ready for the inevitable day that will come. In my case all the people I love and hold dear know how I feel about them because I let them know every day how much I love and care for them. It also doesn't hurt that I've got a good insurance policy in place. Prepare for the inevitable, it'll make life easier.

No, I'm not. I think this is so because we do not know what awaits us after death

I'm not, unless I know when I die. That would be so scary if you knew your exact timeline.

Guess you're right. But the fact that you are aware of it, maybe you can also prevent it from happening. Unless you're not aware of its cause.

I think everyone is. Who would want the idea of not existing at all?

As a child, I could not understand how I could die, that people die, I understood, and how I could die didn’t fit in my head. Later, I realized that there is no death, as we understand it, there is just a transition to another form of life, the dead age of the body is reset, and the soul is released. But what dimension you will get depends on the quality of the life you have lived, how well the lessons are learned. Wink

I was just thinking back then, what if I die right now how the hell would it looked like? Although I keep saying that I'm not afraid but whenever I think of my wife I can't possibly die right now.

And whenever I think about my death i feel terrified for the reason I will be missing some moments here on Earth. Though its already impossible to live a Hundred years right now, I still want to see how this world change.
Am not Afraid but i feel terrified, silly isn't it?

How about you? Are you afraid on dying? Have you considered keeping yourself alive to see the future?

"People only dies when they've been forgotten".

If you re-read your post, you will understand that its not that you are afraid of 'death' in particular but about the loved ones left behind. I think it won't matter when one is dead already and this is a cycle (not unless we find immortality). I hope to live long enough to see this happen. Even if I can't avail the opportunity I would still want to see humans defeating death or conquering aging (however that happens).
