Let's face facts, many of us have been in Crypto for years now.

Aside from the very few instances where you need to send crytocoins and transact immediately.

How many of you are just done buying crypto as an investment?

I mean you purchased enough of multiple coins, that if any hit your intended price target for them in 5 to 10 years,
you be richer than you ever dreamed.

So are you

1. Done buying crypto and just waiting for your ship to come in.
2. Buying forever with no intent to ever sell.
3. Still not purchased enough coins for your ship to come in.
4. Crypto Day Trader buy and sell everyday for small gains
added
5. Buying when extra money around, spending coins when finding stuff to buy via BTC and getting a better price, having a stash that I won't sell till I really feel the need to get out and one that I might sell earlier to cover some big buy (change of house, new car, etc etc).
6. Long Trader: Continuously buying while the prices are calm and just waiting to sell high.

I am in the 1 category, literally no reason to buy any more, don't even care about new cryptos.
If it reaches my price target , I'll be rich, if not, I won't be spending any more money on it.
So Which are You?
Totally a disappointment ( Most crypto I bought are now dropped dead, turned to shit token or less than 5 dollars. This is not encouraging at all, and that's why I plan to cool it down for a while and save up instead)

right now I'm still involved in trading one of the altcoins, I'm still waiting for the price to grow again because the price falls below the purchase price I made.
I will continue to trade to benefit from every transaction.

I think I’m done too, because I believe that I already have enough. Buying more coins is really a waste of time and money, the best thing I can do now is continue to trade with the ones I have and also hodl with the ones I want to hodl with. I bought a lot of coins as of recent and that includes that bitcoin, lite pin, NEO, EOS, ripple, eth, and a lot more of them and I have divided them – the ones I’m trading and the ones holding for profit in case bull run takes off.
There is no limit on buying and collecting crypto, so why do you think you have enough coins? if you want to be rich in the future then you have to collect as much as you can, don't be easily satisfied with what you have already, keep trying to get lots of coins, it will make you rich in the future

I haven't yet done buying my coins, but i wouldn't hold them for five to ten years. I am still analysing some high potential coins and would like to hold them for six months to one year's time.
Most of these project we see in the market are long term investment projects and may extend to that year before you can start making profit, long term investment really require patient to really get a clear direction before pulling out, otherwise, the time we pull out may be the time that the market will pick and we will end up regretting doing so.

If you are to go into short term investment, then I will advise that you learn to trade some of the coins, with trading, you will make more than enough before that 5 years target of yours, use the life of people who pulled out before bitcoin hit ATH, let us learn from their experience.

My believed on this industry when investing in coins or tokens is: don't hold coins or tokens for a longer time becasue by so doing, such investor or buyer may be going into lose. Especially this era of IEOs, which hype are very common with tokens be offered by theses exchanges. I bought some token from Binance and within five days time, sold out for profits than holding against risk of dump.

I am in number 4, but I will also save a small portion for the long term on a coin that has great potential

Am also standing on that mate, Last year i had to buy some coins CCL which was a good investment to me then but unfortunately i never knew that the coin was hype for more investors to trooped in, after some weeks the said coin depreciated till now, so, nothing was left for me than to hold for a long term. But there where some i bought and sold out immediately with profits. Am still buying cryptocurrency coins.
Last year was indeed a learning year for majority of us in cryptocurrency trading and investment, but it was really worth it because a lot of us have gathered enough experience that we are now applying to our present trade and decision.

my target now is to correct the last mistake made by me last year, so I am not done buying crypto, aside the ones I have already kept in my portfolio, I am still waiting for dipper prices to buy, main reason why I am not so much bothered now about price going down, even if I had bought some at a higher prices, I know that those coins will still have a balanced price.

Buying more coins is really a waste of time and money,

I really don't think so, that's why I disagree with that.
The reason why I am buying more coins is because I don't know which coin will pump, and this is also a way to minimize the risk because we learn to diversify our investment. For me, as long as a coin has a great potential, its worth a buy.
Lol, buying a lot of coins is truly a waste of time when you already know that Bitcoin and the top ten coins are the main thing here and others sure are likely to be a waste of time. Whenever Bitcoin is falling the market will as well be falling and when Bitcoin starts to increase the market goes up with it. The only thing is that when they fall to the bottom, those small coins starts to do some up and down and you can trade them then and make a little profit daily.

Investing into cryptos blindly will never help anyone as investing into more coins definitely cannot be done after enough due diligence. Instead of going in mass, it would be much better to stay calm with bitcoins itself.

Bitcoin is given the most stable and the most potential coin in crypto, but I like to try my luck hoping I can make fortune on coins that has not grow x10 or x100 yet. Buying a lot of coins as long as you are doing it blindly gives you a chance to have a profit, what if the coin you bought will have the same faith like bitcoin, xrp, or even BNB, imagine how much profit you will make on that.

You have some valid points. Until 6 months back, I had a at least three dozen different altcoins and tokens in my wallets. But now that number is down to around 10. I have converted the rest to BTC or ETH. My patience has run out with the alts. I think it is time to solely concentrate on Bitcoin (+ ETH).
The only reason that made me start to use cryptocurrency was because I was working with someone and he was fond of sending payments in BTC, so I had to start making use of it. That was before I started making use of BTC, then I decided to be investing in it too, but this time around I no longer invest, I think I have enough already.

Actually, I’m tired of buying any coin again. And to be sincere the only thing I have is Bitcoin. I no longer show interest in other coins, no matter what people has to say about them. I’m just really tired of all that. This time around I just come to the forum and when I’m not reading posts in the forum, I’m checking through my wallets and going through sites to read news and all that.
You had to get into cryptocurrency because there was no way you could see people making big money in crypto and you being out of the market. There are so many people who join crypto market due to FOMO and this is the sole motivation for someone to be part of crypto market.

Keeping in mind the potential of the cryptocurrency, I am willing to speculate in Bitcoin as long as the price is set for me.

Lol that' has been my thought lately, why still buy cryptocurrencies while I still have many of them in my wallets ?

I'm tired of buying, I just gotta relax and trade and save with the ones I have instead of buying more, unless maybe the price happens to drop, but before the price drops I'm going to withdraw the ones I have already to collect the profit I have made so far and then watch where it's going to bottom and I will buy from there again and also start to hold and trade.

I still buy on a regular basis, usually at the end of the month for a fixed amount of money. I usually buy BTC and a promising altcoin, used to be stellar in 2019!
I paused that buying plan in 2018 and restarted it in February 2019, very lucky me Wink
That is nice. You use your savings to speculate in Bitcoin and altcoin and that is a nice strategy. You would be investing regardless of the market vibes and the bull or bear which is something that will benefit you immensely in future.

I do buy only at the end of downfall markets. I do use intensive technical analysis to catch all down markets to buy something. I am a broker of few of my friends and I do buy with their money too.
Actually when you hodl through the bullish market, your value rises and bullish market ends up imparting the maximum value possible to your coins. This looks great profit as you are not missing out.

I fall exactly at category 4, wherein I purchase bitcoins and sell them on a price higher from what I acquired them. A lot of people complain about day trading stating that it is not profitable but the accretion of small gains can be large especially if you do dozens of trades everyday.

It is still highly advisable to diversify your investments and categorize them either for short/long-term and then develop an action plan regarding it.

Not yet I'm not convenient with my Bitcoin investment because the Crypto investments are the only way available for me to save my future to the good level so I need to make it more possibly the better then only I can handle everything in my future and it is the the thing that will be considered from a long period of time and I think I need to do a lots of research more for my future.

I commend the hunger/thirst for acquiring cryptocurrencies since you have an actual goal to strive for. Unlike some, they only purchase cryptocurrencies due to the bandwagon in the media.

Bro, with the way the market is now, I think you have not made any wrong decision in holding bitcoin alone. Other coins I am holding, I am lucky to have gotten them through campaigns, and I would not say I am lucky yet till I see any growth in the value of the coins, because some are not responding to movement.

Many of these coins doesn’t really have very good products and services that will make them really stand the test of time, investors are just relying on them for investment alone for now, so the only coin that has been standing test of time and will continue to do is BTC.
