I regard Elon Musk as a knowledgeable expert in Payment Systems, with his prior experience with "PayPal" .... but things are changing fast and I think Elon Musk is so involved with several other projects now, that he somehow lost his touch with reality.

The guy is not one of the richest people in the world, because he is a idiot... so you cannot disregard his inputs and opinion... but when his tweets are used to manipulate markets.. then I stop listening to him. (I am not into Pump n Dump coins)  Roll Eyes  <=== Shiba Inu
many acknowledge and admire @elonmusk, but I regret that his followers can be moved unconsciously and want to follow what they want, without wanting to analyze properly even most of them are experienced in the crypto field.

what his followers do without understanding the impact that will occur will ultimately benefit what is the desired goal, if they don't want to take excessive action then the bitcoin market will have no impact on people like him but this is the umpteenth experience and let it be for learning so as not to repeat what he said, immediately do it with action without any prior analysis.

Whenever Elon Musk tweets about cryptocurrencies, he just demolishes the market. No matter what, I'm totally against his manipulations. Recently, a lot of people lost a great deal of money because of him. I beg him to stop but he doesn't care about investors at all.
Even if you are against the manipulation, you won't be able to do a thing. Also, I find you funny for begging him to stop as if Elon knows that you exist and even if he does in a strange way, pretty sure that he only sees you as a number that will increase his portfolio. In this kind of thing, the best position is to be neutral because no point going against and being on his side because you won't reap the benefits for the two at the same time.

I believe the whales are easily manipulating Elon boy’s tweets, especially the “heartbroken” emoji in order for the “vulnerables” to panic and quickly sell their coins or tokens and the whales are gonna buy back at lower prices. Always DYOR as usual. Not a fan of Elon boy or even following him, but he’s just one of the many influencers out there who could either drive the crypto price up or down.
I agree, it's clear that whales are using Elon's tweets for their benefit
Elon has influence, whales definitely won't mess with the market with their hands

I personally consider the Bitcoin market movement to happen naturally
Elon and others are just playing their part

i'm not listening, but i follow what happened in crypto because of Elon. Some of my friends said that we don't need to fight trend that still happens because there are something big out there that not equal to us. If Elon said good, it means bigger chance for crypto price to increased, if he start to talk bad, we should ready for coins that we already bought.

No matter what, I'm totally against his manipulations.
Me, too. And even Changpeng Zhao hates him because he seems to manipulate the crypto market with his tweets.

Recently, a lot of people lost a great deal of money because of him. I beg him to stop but he doesn't care about investors at all.
True. Many people lost their money because of following him. It is not totally Elon's mistake, those who followed him also made a mistake. But Elon triggers many people to follow him. His tweets are like sugar that attracts people to read and follow them. Sadly, then Elon Musk made some tweets that become the opposite of his previous tweets. It very hurts for sure.

You could also twist it around to be honest and argue that a lot of people also made a lot of money because of him. That's a moral topic. I mean he didn't force anyone into buying. Ultimately it is the peoples' own decision to either listen to him and invest or not. Those who did don't really have the right to complain because he didn't make false claims about DOGE as far as I remember. He just demonstrated he likes it and supports it.

So now that bitcoin is recovering well from it's drop we can expect a bull run again.
We all know how Elon pumped and then dumped the market through his influential tweets.
This what happens when people listen to others blindly and invest.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research) is the approach that everyone should follow.
Don't panic sell. There will be many such waves and many such influential people who might try to manipulate the market again.
HODL has always proved to be strong.

Why this thread ? - It's more like a wake up call to newbies and all those who blindly follow others.

P.S : I voted for 3rd option
hello sir, yes i totally agree with you right now the best thing is to hold our bitcoins in the future, don't panic too much with speculation whether it's from elon or other people, bitcoin has been like that for generations and there will be other waves affect bitcoin

Unfortunately, some people are still listening to what he is saying and still waiting for his tweet for their trades. His tweets can effect the market in short term and make some sharp price movements in short term. These short term emotional price movements will make many people lose their money because during this time the price will manipulated by his tweets. However, all these things and his tweets can not the people who invest in long term. Hope someday people stop listing to him.

Only careless newbies who listen Elon Musk, smart newbies won't do it. Elon Musk doesn't deserve to listen after too many bad attitudes done by him for crypto industry. What he tweeted today may be the opposite of what he tweets tomorrow. So, never trust his tweets anymore, guys! Also, don't pay attention to him anymore, he will be so happy if we all give much attention to him. He is trying to manipulate the crypto market and exploits crypto users. Stay away from his tweeter and all his social media!!

I don't totally ban Elon, I'm still reading his post on social media, and his tweets but I never have to follow him. I admire his positivity but I was thinking it was too much and fall into greediness which I don't.

Many become evil because of money. They'll be making themselves too powerful because of money. And that how he takes advantage of the others. Our first impression to Elon is really a good person which a high caliber of business ideas however, it all be done as he tried to start manipulating the market.

Not that really bad when it comes to listening or being aware with these things. It is just on how you do make act and do consider neither it would be part or would affect your initial investment decisions or not before or after knowing such words with those popular person on making out sentiments or give out words
according to their own views but for sure there would be always a catch in the end of the line.
All the decision making still on your part, even there's a huge impact that may happened by dealing with good research and allow yourself

be familiar with how the market may react still depends on you, if you know well then you can act in favor to your investment, the bad thing is when you just listen blindly and follow those opinions without any valid reason behind.

Gaining momentum or not, I never really listened to his tweets even at the time he tweeted about dogecoin. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against the guy. In fact, I actually admire the innovative mind of Elon Musk and all of the things he has achieved. Its just that common sense kept whispering in my head that his tweets that are related to this industry are not significant enough to give a rat's ass about. Had others possessed the same mindset, none of this unwanted scenarios should've happened. *sigh*... I really do hope that people wake up from this bullcrap pretty soon since listening to Elon musk's tweets that are related to this industry would do nothing but harm for most of the people here specially the beginners.

The market seems to be recovering after all this Musk cheap manipulations as prices were rising with normal speed struggling to rise and fight with FUD and whales but now he is again peeping his nose with his new tweets and his influence is so high at this time that even if we ignore him many investors are still listening to him inspite of all this crash situation in the market. His latest meme tweet shows Bitcoin with heart broken emoticon which again resulted in 3-4% price fall for btc.

He is once again trying to do the same manipulation in order to pump Dogecoin with his silly tactics.I personally listen to him that what kind of cheap tricks he is playing to get high profits even after gaining all wealth and that much status.Market don't need to react to his words but most often reverse happens.

Read here what he is doing : Musk new tweets
I saw this bullshit today on twitter. I don't know, but it looks like he playing the broken heart guy who miss the ex (bitcoin) so much. At some point he will re-engage his romance with bitcoin and fans will cheer on him, just wait. Besides the usual flatterers on tweet's comments, there were also a lot of people angry on him for these annoying jokes and memes.
Maybe he thinks to be the crypto king with all his influence among investors, but he is actually the crypto joker, nothing more.

What did you want from Elon? I'm sure he hasn't finished this epic yet.

That's what I believe, too. It would be as if he says hey guys I have proven I can build a Tesla, let's pack it. He has a plan up his sleeves.

P.S : I voted for 3rd option
So glad that you put the third option there, however I am surprised that no has selected the first option which is they had to learn the hard way, we know there were many people following everything he said and there were even bots that were developed to invest in the market based on his tweets, it seems to me some people are in denial about what happened and this is dangerous as it may happen again once another charismatic institutional investor comes and they follow him blindly once again.

Well we do have one person now who learnt the hard way  Grin . The fact is that there are still many people who still follow others blindly.
But at the same time I happy that most of the people acknowledge the fact that influence can get you wrecked.

At first place, I didn't listen to him anyway. I'm just sticking to my plans and will not listen to influencers like him.
I've seen McAfee shilling some ICO's back in the past and I ignored. We saw Elon Shit doing some manipulative things by just tweeting optimistic posts about Bitcoin and many followed him Cheesy.

I hope that those newbies who followed him and lost their money learned from this mistake that they've made. Blindly following others without having your own strategy is a deadly strategy Smiley. Make your own strategy, hodl if you want too and DYOR like many others are saying.

I've seen many comments in twitter begging to Elon to pump the market because its obvious that they lose their money. I can't feel sorry for them for what they've done because for me, it is a lesson for them.

I am sure the old timers would definitely know what happens when such influential people shill about crypto.
We have witnessed it before and the history repeats itself with a new personality this time.
Things haven't changed much though. This is why sticking to our own research and strategy is the best way to survive in the crypto community.
