I don't share your opinion. The single reason is that the coin is too young to be trusted. And all the hype created around it remind me of Ripple six months ago. We all know what happen then.

No, I dont hold any EOS because its not popular as what other alternative coins known. All I know is bitcoin, ethereum, dodge coin and ripple. I think EOS is not popular and not fame so I dont know that.

EOS is a fantastic project which in my opinion may be one of the projects that is here to stay.
However considering ROI, There are other long term projects as well that has done more than 3X despite the bearish season. Examples coming to my mind includes FSN, CMT among others.

I like holding EOS because of what it can offer to us. Ethereum is a blockchain network that facilitates decentralized application but what I like in holding EOS is it is more focuses in pain points of blockchain and attempts to solve the problem of speed, scalability and flexibility which I think a good project that they can offer on the community so I will keep holding EOS.

yes, most of them are but EOS is a bit more than others in my view.

The EOS project has been a great project and cannot be overemphasized as it is indeed a great project, from my own perspective i perceive it to be more than the ethereum platform as it has opportunities it gives to other projects and that will affect its price so it will be a very good coin to hold for a long time.
