In Philippines the political influence of catholic church was built throughout our history where priest runs the community, their voice is very powerful and we raised from the word of God that they believe in. So as for controversial issues like this religious groups opposing it directly and politicians are afraid to take a stand against it because they know the influence of church in our society. But if we look at Latin America they are some country that legalized same sex marriage like Argentina, Brazil and Colombia we all know that majority of Latin America were Catholic. While Islamic region also opposed on this matter. As a believer I'm not infavor in same sex marriage but it doesn't mean that I'm against on LGBT's rights, I also have a close friend that belong to LGBT and I respected her/him. Kindly respect my opinion.

Whatever floats your boat! That is my opinion on it. I wouldnt go around telling people what to do or expecting them to do what I feel is right. We all have a sense of right and wrong and if they think what they do is right, then I'm good. We will be judged for our actions and our beliefs after all.

I think its about time that the Ph accept same sex marriage. Filipinos pride themselves for valuing equality and peace but I notice that they are really judgmental. I think they should accept same sex marriage and remove the restrictions they are posing.

Actually, I am in favor of same sex marriage for the very reason that we should give other people the chance to be happy by choosing the person they want to spend their life with, regardless of the gender. We may never understand them because we aren't in the same situation as them. So, the best thing to do is to respect their decision.

To me just as long as they love but that sin in the word of god...

I;m not quite sure on the status of same sex marriages in my country but I, personally, don't have anything against it and nothing against those couples adopting kids. Why? Well I believe that a child would have a much better childhood and with growing up with a loving parents, who can provide him with the necessities, will help him achieve his goals a lot easier rather than growing up in foster families or similar to that.

Yes. Why are so many countries allowed, why do we hate them? I suppose they have the courage to live with themselves despite the masculine / feminine form. However, there are still some people who keep their thoughts, despise and disrespect. That is why the LGBT community and many organizations support united marriage to protect them.

This is a question and everyone is giveng his opinion. So it is just fair if he gives his view on the subject. After all everyone has different opinions and point of view. I think if those same sex couples wants to be respected and accepted, other people’s opinion on them also matters and they should also be respected.

Well I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends. I asked them this kind of question and their answer was also No. I disagree with it with due respect to the blessing of marriage. Marriage is an honor and blessing from God for a male and female couple and I think it would be too disrespectful if they'll go beyond their bounderies.
