i'm making decent percentages, mostly just doing work for btc that i would otherwise not be doing.
also, got into automated trading to save myself a few headaches, which has worked out decently enough for me once i learned the ins and outs of how to set my trading style.
i figure i can work for btc and store it long term, while trading a bit, so that if the market goes up, all the 1 dollar trades will in the long term be worth 5x, or 10x as much.

now I'm temporarily stopping to trade, because looking at market prices still looks bad and I will hold back some of my altcoins waiting for a higher market price increase.
I hope you will comeback again to trade. It's no reason for you to stop trading temporarily because if you looking yo earn more profit you will buy more that's the best you gonna do not that way of stopping trading. You can try to enter again to trading and add more to the coins that you holding to earn more.

I can definitely make money in this situation also but the problem is the risk involved here is so much higher so I think taking huge risk for very low profit will not give convenient mindset about trading so I am waiting for a good change and I will continue to trade properly in the future.

Then, what I did was I trade Ethereum, Bitcoin and Ada, and so far so good its not that big but it is still good to be consider as profit every week.

honestly i wasn't doing any trade last 6/7 months. because there is really hard time for trading right now. market is not stable right now and it's too risky for trade. but good time will be coming soon. at this moment patient is the best option for trader.

yes I definitely made money in this difficult situation also but the problem is it is very hard to make money and the tension and pressure was how much higher than normal days when come to this type of situation but for everyone who had interest will definitely made money. Making money this bear market is really difficult or hard to get profit because most of the coins dump.
But Im still earning profit because I use my own strategy and other strategy I combined it so it will become more useful like this moment.
For none panic selling or current market is not earning one because price is now a day low so for investors it is good time and they are happy as price is low to buy but holders will have to be patient and wait for right time, I take bear market as my as chance to purchase at low price and hold for making money.But Im still earning profit because I use my own strategy and other strategy I combined it so it will become more useful like this moment.

For typical traders it's difficult but for expert maybe at any market situation they can be profitable.

Yes, the experienced traders do not need a bull market to make profit. They can even take profit from the bear market. And i have seen even newbie and inexperienced traders who are not able to take profit in bull market too. so if you are an experienced trader you can take profit from trading in both the bull and bear market conditions.

Day trading has been profitable for me for the past 2-3 weeks as the price continues to grows. When I started day trading, the initial costs of one bitcoin was around $3,800-$3,900 and it was very unstable at that time. I withdrew and cashed out my bitcoins even if the profit margin was small. Now, the price has grown up to $4,000~ and these short-term investments proved profitable.
Profit making is definitely possible in any type of situation but the risk is so much higher so we cannot take any steps with riskiest situation right now but a lots of people still no making money with low price in trading..
It actually depends on how you want to play the market situation. Day trading is definitely risky but if you have the means of doing so then it could profitable but like what you said, the risks are definitely higher compared to a bullish run situation.
