One thing I've learned about crypto is that there is nothing sure about it. Thats why it is unpredictable and volatile. You'll never know what will happen. Although you can see signs or indicators but its not a guarantee. When it comes to altcoins, not all of them are worth yout money. Better to study it first then choose the right one for you. Altcoins are better for holding. Sooner or later their season will come.

For now Bitcoin is the dominant leader. The hype is forming and people will come soon and buy the cheapest coins, but don't understand a thing about supply etc. So XVG, DGB, XRP and others with a low price, but huge total supply will gain track, just because of the FOMO Bitcoin will create. We have another bull run in store and it will not only be BTC. Just my 2cts

I think the main reason why you haven't seen it yet is the fact that bitcoin is still going strong. Since, bitcoin is making people money and helping them get profit people are putting their fiat currency into bitcoin as well as their altcoins to bitcoin as well. Which means as long as bitcoin keeps making people more and more profits than there would be nobody looking at bitcoin neither.what about your thoughts
However, at the same time know as a fact that as soon as bitcoin doesn't make anyone that much money and the amount of profits are diminishing then the price of altcoins will start to go up because people love to make money and they just made money from bitcoin so they will not say "this is enough" and move on, they will want to keep making more profits and just spend all of that bitcoin profits into getting some altcoins.

Many always say that this is the season of altcoin. They have been saying that since 2015. It is really a shame that altcoins have not been able to get out of bitcoins influence but I think anything positive happening with bitcoin will have the same effect on the altcoins and many who knows this have already taken advantage of that basic knowledge.
At the current moment, alts seem to have a better rise than bitcoin but with every rise and fall, we see the ever rising dominance of bitcoin. The fake volume thing got me thinking... maybe the delayed altcoin season is partially due to exchanges now having to report correct data to get listed correctly at coinmarketcap. It's certainly a lot easier to pump a junk coin with with fake volume than real volume.
Which may mean only good coins with at least okay-ish volume already will be the benefactors of any altcoin season that arrives.

In bad market good project's altcoin also can fall. When investment decrease from crypto market it can possible most successful altcoins also can go down.And in good situation many under listed alt can go up.
I think if bitcoin price is up, the altcoin will go down and if bitcoin price is down, some of the altcoins will go down too. But there are still many altcoins which can go up to the higher price, but that will depend on how higher bitcoin price can reach. The crypto market still depends on the bitcoin movement, but I am sure the time for the altcoin to increase will coming, and we will make a profit from altcoin. We need to be patient to wait for a while.
