I always use the default fee or the usual recommended fee to avoid the length of the transaction. even though bitcoin fees are getting expensive but I also get benefit from the bitcoin itself.

I do not want to use a low fee because it will slow my transaction, so I use the fee in accordance with the rules in the wallet, or sometimes I add a little fee to be more quickly transported my transaction by the miners

Yes, we can save, but we should save at work. Our work requires fast transactions, saving will slow our work, and it is not good.

i use the default fees by blockchain and coinbase. no any issue and long delay.
Also for me, try to not modify the fees, if i put wrong how... Tongue

Yes I do the same with coinbase and I get my transactions confirmed in just an hour or less sometimes. Coinbase also has internal transfers from other coinbase wallets that are free of charge because they don't go into the blockchain.

Me too

Sometimes when I withdraw BTC to my wallet, I set really low fees like 50-70 satoshi per byte and wait for weeks, because I'm not going to spend those coins in the near future anyway. I think it's a good way to save a bit of money, because if you look back, you might realize that your fees have added up to a big amount in USD value, while it wasn't always necessary to get those coins confirmed asap.
So, do you use low fees, or always want to get confirmation in a next few blocks?

Nice one, it is works if you are not in hurry to send bitcoin. What kind of wallet do you use to set those low fees? as I've never set it, just automatic fee from blockchain wallet. But, it is really piss me off waiting for days to get a confirmation, so $1-2 doesn't matter in my opinion, especially you want it be confirmed soon.

When the amount I send was low and not important I will send it using low or normal fee, other than that usually I used a high fee eventhough it is expensive but I am an anxious person, I can't sleep and will keep on checking if my transaction is not confirmed yet

I think YoBit exchange is using low fees...when I sent a btc from yobit to another, it took days to go through =/

They are terrible and I don't want to be part of those complaining club, most of the trading sites are requiring fees. And I haven't chose the lower fees because I don't want to experience the long wait for my transaction to be confirmed by the miners. But I don't want to pay too much fees I just use the normal fees.

NO chance i guess bitcoin is increasing its price in the market so no doubt that the fee will also increase i dont know why it also increasing but i guess it is just normal to take advantage in what is happening in the market so they will definitely do that because they have a reason to do high fees so probably all transaction have high fees.

i use low fee and my transactions getting 5-6 days to confirm but i don't have problem because i'm trying to save some btc
LOL. Maybe you do not have anything big to deal with bitcoin. As I am an online seller, it is 100% ridiculous when a transaction takes more than 1 hour to be confirmed. Because of that fact, it is hard for bitcoin to become something bigger and greater like what we all expect

Since most of my bitcoin need involve paying for hosting, running exchange service for people then no point using low fee.

Yes, we should not use the low fees for transactions, which will cause a lot of obstacles to our work. Unverified or long-term transactions will make your work uncomfortable.
Just think about it, if all people pay high transaction fees that means that we are paying them for nothing because they will not make transactions faster since there are a lot
i think that the whole point of pying fees is only for the poeople who really need their transactions faster like investment or gambling where every second counts other than that we are just wasting money

my own way to overcome an expensive fee might have already switched to other coins such as $DGB $XRP $WAVES fast confirmed transaction .
is the solution to a very expensive fee Bitcoin transaction at this time  Smiley

But changing from one cryptocurrency to the other might also affect part of its value and so eventually the amount you will to pay to get changed into an Altcoin may be equivalent to what you'd have paid as a transaction fees for the original Bitcoin transaction.

I really wish to set these sort of lower fees and since i am using an online wallet i really do not have that option to input lower transaction fees and if i need to send a few transactions per day then it would cost too much for me and i have to cut down on my transactions per day to avoid spending more money for the fees.

A few days ago I had to make a payment of 10$ and the minimum recomended fee of my walltet was 7$ this is getting out of control, and I have heard of people making payments of 1$ with a fee of 2$ or more.

That is just stupid.
There are already 100s of posts telling the same stuff.

Bitcoin at this moment is not suitable for micropayments.
If you make transactions under 20$ just use the conventional methods.

There are a lot of services that are far cheaper when it comes to small sums. Circle for example.

I'll try to figure it out in this area a little later. Although I understand that the broadcast and payment for services will be for me some event. The thing is that I'm trying to figure out more and more, but there are some difficulties, in which there are very subtle complications.

Yes, we should not use the low fees for transactions, which will cause a lot of obstacles to our work. Unverified or long-term transactions will make your work uncomfortable. We should use higher fees, it does not need to be too high, it needs just enough, and so, your transaction speed will be extremely fast.

I always consult this website before sending any payment. I don't like to wait so this website is a great tool for anyone to consult before sending any bitcoin with low fees that risks to not be accepted by the network or delayed a lot of time. I use https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to check the recommended fee always.

Not really, something forces us to use higher transaction costs so it is necessary to get a quick confirmation when new block is found
