It's quite impressive how this project has evolved in just one year. And it's not only matter of professionalism. They have overcome the difficulties due to market's uncertainty and bearish trends, and also to the dominance of other altcoins, keeping to develop solutions technologically in line with those of its major competitors.

Very nice indeed. People are freaking out when they hear about "regulations" but that's because those people think of cryptocurrency as a way to get rich fast while avoiding taxation... which is stupid... but nvm...
Good regulations are helping into making cryptocoins more acceptable and reduce some kinds of risks. One big risk are all the ICOs and France seems to be working on eliminating this risk.
Since ARK has a serious team and a business entity in France, I believe the ARK's ecosystem will attract a lot of regulated ICOs which would result in a big success for ARK.
I always though we should replace Ethereum in place n.2, as times passes this seems more realistic than ever!

2. ARK is the most developed platform that should be ready to accept this challenge by the end of the year.

I've been on a quick holiday, and returned with so many big news about ARK! Good job guys.
And I agree, that we should mostly see Mike active on Github, that is only thing now that matters. I really want to see v2 fully functioning this year!
Need my paycheck, to put more money into ARK. Now are really good opportunities to buy guys. Maybe it will never happen again...

ark has interesting prospects for future development, unfortunately now all the altcoins are suffering but I think it's an abuse to keep in your wallet. the rewriting of the core will be a good basis for starting to climb the market cap

The Phantom wallet is using the same private key as your ARK wallet, so you don't have to backup anything.
How did you add the Phantom coins in the first place? Didn't you use the ARK's private key? Well, that's the one you need to keep safe!

Each year 154k of new Ark is forged.
There is no hard cap, reward halvings like with Bitcoin. The supply will keep increasing by a small precentage.
Wow I haven't looked into how many new coins are added every year, that's about 0.1% only, but are you sure it's correct? Since delegate voters get almost 10% of their holdings yearly, isn't it logical to assume that the total coin creation is somewhere between 10%-5%? I believe that not every coin in circulation is "staked" on delegates, but 0.1% new coins sounds too little.
2 ark created every 8 seconds, which averages to 15 ark created per minute, which makes 900 per hour, or 21,600 per day, which means a max of 7,884,000 per year(in a perfect environment, not accounting for delegate down time, missed blocks, network latency or downtime)

I add that while an account will still receive 10% apr, since every new block generate 2 ARK forever , monetary policy is somehow deflationary. Now I'll put my paint's skill together and I'll draw an explanation

Can I transfer all my arcs from a white network to a black one by just dropping my coins to the dark side?
I have a version of the purse 1.6.0 system offering to update the wallet. for Windows 64. Is this an official update or can I be hacked?

Not sure what you mean but you're clearly confused on something.
The dark network is for beta testing, I don't know how exactly it works but it's probably an image of the actual network some point in the past, you might be able to login there and test some things but DON'T SEND coins to the dark network, they'll get lost. Stay on the light side young padawan!
As for the smart contracts, they'll be available with the ARKVM update.
As per the roadmap (found here: https://ark.io/roadmap) ARKVM is expected to be completed some-when on 2019 and at the moment it's in the early stage of about 39% completion.
