so disappointing performance from Japan today , referee was nice to them but they had tons of opportunities to score that they wasted

Yeah, I lost all my single bets yesterday, for once, all the favourites reigned supreme, scoring 2 goals or more with none conceded. Small bets, so it's okay, and I'm choosing both Qatar and Japan (in fact, my 2 picks for outright winners, South Korea is actually really strong but I suspect they'll fall before the finals. They're only 1.35 so I've put them both as 2 legs of my other football parlays today.
Oman and DPRK can't score, so the best they can try for is a draw, but their defence aren't great either.

Don't know about you guys, but the way this competition's going, today's sure to have at least 1 upset. A draw will still be considered a minor upset by any of the 3 matches but I took a small bet on all 3 underdogs... If Iran or Iraq lose, I get 13/1. If Saudi lose, I get 6/1. Let's see how it goes!

Hey it's true in the first match Australia did not play well, I was surprised by their underpar performance but you got your analysis spot on. I wasn't sure if Australia would win this game, but they played well and won the game 3 - 0. A loss would have send them back packing home, but they really played some convincing football to win. Everybody thought that it will be a massacre in the field as they have thought that if they have defeated Germany in the World Cup it will be a walk in the park for this Asian team. Happy to see that the Philippines has been improving with their new manager Sven Eriksson. His primary focus now is recruiting Filipino blooded pro football players which he had been successful so far as well as developing a youth football academy which he hopefully wants to develop homegrown talent.

Great game! Finally won an upset that makes up for past losses haha. Thai Captain rolled back the years amd delivered so well for the Elephants. He dribbled so well in last minute and even should have made it 2-0 but credit to defence also... 18 fouls and 4 yellows, they made it a physical game for the Bahraini, and as I expected, they were totally shocked by the Thai approach, who saved the best plays and dribbles for the dying minutes.

Thailand made a good comeback after losing with India and they have a chance to play for the next round now although winning against UAE will be too tough.
