Heart said Vietnam, but ended up just using Saudi to play one leg of a weird parlay I got going on... so far Vietnam leading 2-1 but only thanks to an own goal, I think Iraq are good enough to at least draw, even though the Southeast Asians are still the ones currently with more shots on goal. 35 mins a lot left to happen though.

Edit they just levelled 2-2. 30 mins left, they've got to win this.

BTW anyone got good streams for AFC? My Kodi lines severely outdated

check out this site fromhot.com
not the best quality but kinda good , delay for today is around 40 seconds but sometimes it less or more since it offer various links and streams
also sportzone app for mobile is good and they have AFC matches as well

ut in general I would love to see how they play their first game first cause as we saw there were many surprises for other big teams
The probability of winning for Iraq is high but you know Vietnam is also playing well if you have a look at the last matches of Vietnam. The head to head was in 2017 where Iraq won 2-1. So, Iraq will win, maybe but it's unpredictable for sure.

Iraq vs Vietnam

Iraq has great history performance in AC and they are used to it , their team overall is better than Vietnam and they have the motivation as well
I'm expecting a win for then and taking Iraq -0.75 X1.82 (sportsbet ) , so in general people predicting a win for Iraq but I'm hoping for 2 goals win but anyways 1 goal win will be half win for the betslip

Iraq win to NIL X2.38 is looking nice as well IMO , but in general I would love to see how they play their first game first cause as we saw there were many surprises for other big teams

Iraq will be playing their first match against Vietnam today in Group D, even though Vietnam have just won the AFF Suzuki Cup recently, but I think Vietnam will still struggle against Iraq today, I checked on Iraq past home matches result and they seems to have a decent performance whenever they are playing at their home stadium, so I guess Iraq should be able to claim 3 points from Vietnam today.

Turns out Thailand fired their coach hours after the defeat to India. Basically they were saying he played them defensively, when they were built for speed and agility. Makes sense since they really shouldn't have lost so badly. All these details would have been nice to know before making the bet, but impossible to learn as limited coverage in English.

Today has gone as expected though, except perhaps for the slim scorelines, with South Korea overcoming Philippines and China taking 3 points from the Kyrgystan game.

Iran should win the day's final match. But no bets for me today, no good odds.
India is quite a better than Thailand and it was expected to be happened.
China and Korea's win is also as expected and that's what happened.
Today, Saudi and N. Korea match is quite unpredictable. Saudi is likely to win the match but N Korea also have the chance of scoring. Expecting a drawn or Saudi to win though.

India have managed to beat Thailand extremely easily by scoring 4 goals against Thailand yesterday, I guess the bookmakers have overestimated the players quality in Thailand, the odds payout for Thailand to win the match in full time was horribly low, and India was not even a weak team in the first place, I am so glad I avoided placing my bets on Thailand to win the match in full time due to the low odds payout.

Yeah, that match was horrible for Thailand, and for me, I think I also overestimated Thailand players, I never think India is weak, but I just think that Thailand would make a surprise.

And by the way, the result that Australia lost is really unexpected. This will make chaos in Group B though. I have not seen anyone talk about match today,

- China vs Kyrgyzstan, China obviously has the better squad, but Kyrgyzstan have a good result in the recent matches, and China, on the other hand, is in their worst performance. I might go on the risky bet to put some money on Kyrgyzstan.

- Philippines vs South Korea is not really my favourite match, South Korea odd is so bad, and betting on Philippines are way too risky.
I was pretty sure about India but Australia lost to Jordan was unexpected and even I thought of 2-0, 2-1 win for Australia. Anyway, after all it's soccer.
China has a good achievement in AFC while Kyrgyzstan is new here. Anyway, putting bet on Kyrgyzstan will not be good idea, IMO.
Philippines will be a worst choice if someone want to bet on it. South Korea will take place here.

can't be 1.99 after commisions in Fairlay cause the max that fairlay can charge for this event is 0.25% on winnings which means your odds should be X2.047
are you sure about that ?? anyways most of the times fairlay has the same odds that bitcoinrush has so it's better to use them only in case they offer another market or they have an order with higher odds ( occasionally )

Hmm you're absolutely right, I don't know why that didn't immediately jump out at me. Too late to check it actually, but I was almost 100% sure I saw 1.997 winnings when I chose to match the offer. In general I only take Fairlay on underdog bets (they always have at least a whole point more than even BCR).

Bloody opening games as it turned out though. Palestine played really desperately, got a CB sent off and generally just kept the game to a scrappy one, but Syria normally thrives in that too. They should have still won this game, but as it stands, Jordan top the table with 3 points... and meet Syria next.

Syria may just end up winning the table too if they can win that game, and then hold Australia at minimum (though don't see why they can't beat the Socceroos). Every game is winnable the way it looks.

kinda disappointed after the match , I knew I shouldn't bet Syria at X1.65 but when odds jumped to X2.05 I knew that it's a great bet to make
Syria dominated the match in everything but failed to reach the net , Palestine had no threat at and the Syrian goalkeeper didn't have any single thread ( the camera I guess showed him like 4 times )

the Syrian coach did extremly bad calls though

I would say in the last 4 matches this match was the less surprising , Syrian team did everything but failed to score

Australia was beaten by Jordan, well a little bit unexpected for me...
Thailand vs India, frankly I have no clue, however, I think Thailand has more chances than India.
The next game I expect Syria would win vs Palestine but as said before, in AFC, it is very hard to expect who could win!

Actually, first 3 matches of the tournament have all brought in unexpected results.

1. UAE held to a draw even as huge favourites.
2. Jordan beating Australia at over 10/1 odds.
3. India currently leading 3-1 with 20 mins to play... and I actually backed Thailand to win with a -1.5 handicap haha!

So yeah, looks like we might have a good value betting against bookies, but you could be really unlucky and only see the upsets early in tourney. Terrible outing for me so far!

@Sy: I also took the Syria win @2.05 as a single match now, thanks to the results so far... after commissions, just 1.99 though.

after Jordan win against Australia the calculation should be complex for group B
I was not going to bet today but odds for Syria has moved from X1.65 to X2.05 , I see value with this odds so I will take the bet
Syria should win now against Palestine since the other two matches they will be facing Australia and Jordan who was able to gain precious 3 points from Australia

so winning this match is a must !!

I am actually expect UAE vs Bahrain march to be draw, since Bahrain is quite strong team right now, but UAE is the Host. Picking Syria is a smart choice, they strong but have good odd. But I more likely to pick UAE or Iraq for the winner.

For the match today, Jordan vs Australia is to obvious, no offense. Then Thailand vs India, I saw some post favoured India, but I might have an unpopular opinoin that Thailand will make a surprise, they have a strong squad this year.
Thailand have messed up one of the tournament they recently participated in which was the AFF Suzuki Cup, Thailand was eliminated by Malaysia in that tournament, and the AFF Suzuki Cup tournament only consist of teams from Southeast Asia, so Thailand are obviously the clear favorite team to win the AFF Suzuki Cup and yet they messed it up. I think India would prove to be a much more tougher opponent for Thailand to handle, so I guess we might see Thailand struggling to score goals against India today.

Yup, I saw this match and Thailand dominated the match but India was lucky to get a penalty ( 1-1 HT )
In the second half I was sure that Thailand would again dominate the game and win this match at least with a score of 2-1 / 3-1

today is my favorite day since Group B will play , as much as I like to bet today but I will just avoid betting for today
I will focus on Jordan vs Austrlia and Syria vs Palestine

on papers both Australia and Syria should have easy wins , but believe me it's not that easy
last 4 matches between Australia ended 2 wins for Jordan in Jordan and 2 wins for Australia in Australia , so the recent matches show that Australia really suffers against Jordan
Australia has a lot of injuries , but they really surprised me last friendly against Oman where they were able to win 5-0 !!
if they didn't manage to win that big I would confidently go for Jordan +1.5 but it seems that Australia still playing good football even with the injuries they have
as I stated I won't bet it , but I'm not expecting an easy game for Australia

for Syria vs Palestine , historically and looking at recent performance Syria is a clear favor to win but again I won't bet this match
today will be the first official game (not friendly ) for Syria with the new manager , during the last year after the new manager started coaching Syria he played a lot of friendlies but I liked the performance in only 2 or 3
the coach tried a lot of plans and a lot of players , so till now I'm not 100% sure how he will play

there is no doubt that Syrian players are better but it's the game plan that I'm worried about cause as I stated this the first official match

so I will just watch the games today and see how teams will perform and maybe next round I will start having clear bets and reads regarding this group
this is the most exciting group in the whole competition IMO

Thanks for the awesome commentary, Sy! I have to admit here first off that I may have some knowledge in Southeast Asian teams but when it comes to the larger AFC format, then I'm a little bit lost. I'm always backing good teams with bad bookie odds, like you said Syria and Qatar are often given bad ones - and even in the EUFA Nations League you would see Kazakhstan or Georgia with bad odds but they're both really strong teams and for me geographically some of them should be in AFC but anyway that's politics.

Syria have won me a lot of games in the past too - they have really high spirits and camaraderie, even though so many footballers lost their lives in the war, and that strength should see them go far, especially if teams like UAE continue to underestimate their opponents.

Qatar is the strongest on paper though... and because so many friendlies are played behind closed doors, impossible to judge the standards they've set but I suspect even at the coming World Cup the Qataris will be a force to be reckoned with.

P.S. Thanks for the odds you shared... I don't have accounts there so will have to keep hunting.
