Hi Guys,

This is my first post on the forums, so first off Thanks to everyone on here. I would have never had got my Asic Blade working if not for all you guys on here.

So I thought it was time to give something back.

I have been reading through this post and I too had an issue where my blade would just keep swapping servers and not doing any Hash.

After may hours of struggling and for no other reason than to try it I switched off my Android Phone ( HTC Sensation ).

As soon as I did this my Hash Rate went to 10821 Mhs. As soon as I turned on my mobile again NO hashing and swapping servers all the time.

So just a note to you all - If your having problems hashing and swapping server turn off all your Wifi devices and see what happens.

I am using Blade Eurpter v2 running Proxy_miner.exe on Slush Pool running as a service on a Windows 2012 server.

BTW I never resolved the issue with the Mobile phone I just got a new one and no issues with the Wifi.

Hope this helps anyone.

All depends if the seller will do a exchange, btc price just dropped back down below 1000 so it is possible.

yea, after I bought it, it went to $700. I am wondering if its worth sending back for a new one or not.

hmm, kinda puzzled on this

You got a great deal, I paid 225 a piece for my first two, then 425 piece for my other two not even a full month later.

Pool is not it, I changed the pool and same result. I hope we can hear back from the other guy having this problem. I paid $365 for this board on Amazon from Jones. Thinking about returning it and just concentrate on litecoins.

I run an ubuntu 13.10 server in vmware for my proxy setup. I have a couple bash scripts for different pools

Using the -cu and -cp I don't have to worry with the blades, I just ssh into the server and change the pool with the script and the blades are already connecting to the ip address in it's config.

Just remember the blade won't do stratum that's why you have to use a proxy, either slush or bfgminer.

for btcguild it would look like mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.btcguild.com -cu (your username.worker) -cp (anything)

leave the config alone on the blades and the proxy will take care of everything.

Are you using windows mac or linux for the proxy, I noticed ie for your screenshot so I'm guessing windows.

I can mess with the config page if needed, I am really new to putting in the scripts so I will look for a walk through somewhere. I am a newbie when it comes to the coding of this thing. heh.

I will try to change my config to stratum.btcguild.com:3333

look at post #10 in this thread.

If you don't want to mess with your config on the blades just use the -cu and -cp argument on mining_proxy

Yes, I am using slush's pool. I am not exactly sure how to change pools. I assume I have to mess with config files?

I take it you're on slush's pool. Have you tried a different pool just to rule out that?

No problem, post your results.

I work from home so I'm always on here.

Yeah you can't upload pics, you have to host them somewhere and link them.

Try the power supply and see if that helps.

Ok here we go.

Looks like 15A on 12+ rail, with a 10% efficiency that leaves you with ~13.5A. It should handle it, efficiency isn't all that great.

Use the molex wires, can you take a screenshot of your config page just to rule that out. Make sure to white out whatever you don't want the public to see.

The power supply I have is a coolmax 400 10amp. Maybe it's not enough power.

If this is your power supply then it can power one blade.

Use the pci-e connector and chop the end off, and use it.

Very odd, maybe it's just my power supply. I will try another. I am having the same issue as the other user had.

I'm using a Corsair 500 watt power supply I happened to have laying around. I simply cut one of the connectors off and directly connected the black and yellow wires (1 each). It's working great, and the wires aren't even warm. I then connected a case fan that I also happened to have lying around to the other 2 terminals. Here is a picture:

You have to remember that these blades can take up to 10A. Using one wire to supply that much amperage is asking for trouble. To get a sense of it, hold the black wire and feel how hot it is getting.
