Pre-Update

Everything is fine. We have no funds locked anywhere in any exchanges. All modules in the second batch is under assembling and the deploying is on track. Last night we have been testing the new deploying mechanism till 5 am. And this afternoon I went to see the doctor for my cough and sniff.

We will give the update tonight.

hope your cough feels better soon! get some rest if ya need it.

Well at this BTC/USD exchange ratio may the video card miner log out the pool again? Then the hashing power may decrease a little? Daily return may be larger?

Anyone agree on my guess...

I just hope the shares held for electricity and other expenses were already (in some part) moved to fiat.... or... can we expect a drop in the dividend because what was previously thought to cover those expenses... now wont.
The utility costs should be negligible. To put things into perspective, $100 is not even 2 weeks old. A correction from $250 to $100 and even $50 won't make a dent in the dividend payments.

+1, everyone is talking about the "breaking of the bubble" when we're just at the prices that we were two weeks ago. Let's call it a correction and let's just move on - "business as usual"

A large askwall would prevent the price from going up, and therefore drop the price as people realize it's not going to increase.

Yes, i realize that merged mining with the power of asicminer wont lead to something good. I think if someone has a own asic from avalon or so thats another thing but someone with 7 TH probably would destroy it. Too bad...

2 pages are too much to read? If you dont want to inform yourself carefully you have high chances of being scammed.
At the moment the only ways to buy asicminer shares is to use the asicminer -passthroughs from deadterra or burnside. If you have minimum 240 PT-Shares with deadterra or minimum 1 shares with burnside you can change them into real asicminer shares.

To be fair, it MAY be on the second page of the Securities forum.

To be mean, it is the 6th search result for asicminer.

What's the thoughts 'round these parts for bumping threads to keep them alive?  Maybe keep the thread alive by posting the weekly dividends there?

It implies that mining bitcoins with namecoins can give 13% more earnings. I wonder if thats true but if yes, then it would be a not small loss. Too bad that its not possible with stratum.

Merged mining NMC would provide 5.5% additional profit according to http://dustcoin.com/mining

I believe the person that wrote the 13% did it a week ago and the bitcoin price skyrocketed a lot in the last time. So i believe it could be that at that time the earnings were so high.
But it looks like it could be even now around 9% more than we earn because there are different other Coins that could be merged mined. Calculated in Bitcoins. Only when we would merge mine. That is mining bitcoins and at the same time, without changing anything than the numbers based for calculation of the hash, we could mine other coins too. We would still earn the same Bitcoins but other coins on top. These coins could be turned into bitcoins and paid out as dividend too.
And like i read... stratum can handle this.

...
The blatantly obvious point to note is that if asicminer was mining THAT MANY nmc and selling them, the NMC -> BTC price would of course drop drastically ...

It's like saying, wow difficulty is 7672999.920164138 - if I mined with (added) 200TH/s I'd get ... 12977.38710926 BTC a day! Cheesy
( I'll leave it to you to work out the mistake with saying that Smiley )

Thats a point... i didnt think about that the NMC could be so weak. Otherwise... who says that the price has to drop... you could put the NMC in the orderbook and wait until its sold out instead selling all at once and put the price down. Im not sure if it would work out... but i know when i have my avalon i wont miss this chance to earn some extra income... 7TH into NMC-Network will be a lot of course, thats true.

So how does one buy shares? Excuse me for not reading, but this is a huge thread.

And are these shares bought with fiat or BTC? Basically, how do I get on board? And do these guys sell any ASIC miners?
