Im fed up with the lack of info too.
Yet im more and more convinced thats perfectly normal.
FC made a conf in august. Showed himself to the world and announced some sort of checkmate plan.. and then disapeared. Along with the boardmembers...

And this is where one should upload some submarine pics.

''''''' I hear that, all good points.  I know what you are saying.... I could both imagine, 6 months from now, AM regaining a big chunk of the mining world, or just as likely, folding. Its a complete toss up.

Sure FC likes to keep his cards close to his chest, but this just don't work well at being a publicly traded company at the same time. I realized it just sort of developed into one w/o his intention to do so (beyond the original shareholders), but still.

Share price for AM is always so mysterious to me. With  a good product available with Prismas, why is there so much dumping going on?  Been steady decline last few days, looks like .1-.11 is the new normal.
As for the lack of communication, a mere 5 mins a week more spent on twitter updates would translate into a big confidence boost.  : Wink

I think gen 4 will end up like gen 3 and arrive 8 months later than I expect but who knows, we just have guesses.

The reason the share price is low is because there is no information on the company. No one knows if there will be dividends, if we are actually self mining with gen 3, if gen 4 tape out is imminent or several months out. We have no idea what our actual expenses are, what partners were working with, or what sort of revenue we have. A simple update from fried car and a financial statement could go a long way.

The concern is why isn't he doing that? Is gen 4 around the corner and he wants to wait for release before announcing? Does he want to wait on announcing gen 4 to maximize prisms sales? Is he trying to bide time and embezzle as much coin as possible before announcing the failure of AM? No one knows!!! Until fried car announces something anything could be possible.

Full disclosure I'm long AM and just fed up with the lack of communication. That's been my only comments in this thread lately and I don't expect Friedcat to change at all. I'm frustrated and hopeful but a growing part of me expects this company to fold up and run.

It doesn't really look like anything is being delivered at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=791827.320

I don't see why they would be competition.

Still waiting on SP20 to appear, and that's supposed to be due in Oct.  If you managed to take delivery of the SP35 in 30 days, you'd still lose more than if you grabbed the Prisma today.

Communications to "shareholders" is a 4, not to the customers of their products though.

It's a manufacturing guide not a Stock guide.....

i would tend to agree with this (even for a 1 for shareholder communication) although as i have not been an AM customer lately, i am not sure how they are performing on this side.

Batch 1 shipping tomorrow!

1 Prisma shows as 8 boards, which explains the 4bit address space.

After 25 minutes running.

Lot's of padding.

Dogie, I see that you won't be monitoring this, but I'll ask anyway in case you check back and deem it worth a response.  What would AM have to do in the coming rating cycle to improve back into the 90-95 ratings?  Where were the ratings points lost, and why does AM have a 4/10 for ethics?

Just scroll down and read the change log...

Thanks.  Must've just scrolled right over it without seeing.  The ethics ratings make sense, I guess...no way to know if they're mining with customers' hardware.  No such thing as being too careful after BFL.

Dogie - However, shouldn't there be a distinction between manufacturers who mine on their own private pools (e.g. KNCminer or BFL with Eclipse MC) and those who distribute their hashrate among the public pools?  Mining in the public pools creates a (perhaps unintentional but still significant) positive externality to benefit all miners by lowering the variance of payouts and reducing their risk.  Can you refine the ethics rubric on your rating scale to reflect this distinction?  Or do you not consider it to be a differentiating factor? (I'll re/x-post to see if I can tie in a reply.)

Huh, strange. That was a rather slow and gradual selloff today on Havelock! I was initially under the impression that there've been some kind of bad news or something resulting in a cumulative selling, but this seems to be someone on selling their own stash. And maybe even all of it. Poor thing.

Actually over the past few days i have watch large (10-50) share bids placed and similar asks following... no real volume... shares from one pocket to anothet..its all manipulation by a few key people to create panic and fill that nice 200/200 bid down at .09   .

AM1 shares themselves are just a tool to accomplish the pump/dump panic..  Real HolD'rs are HODLing.

Great, now everyone is freaking out because of a minor de-valuation of ASICMiner... Yeah, communications aren't great, but they're fulfilling all their orders, the miners are working, and it doesn't say jack about gen 4 Smiley

Communications are dyer. The problem for me is that it's such an easy problem to remedy, so why not solve it.
