One thing to note is 200 shares were dumped due to a hacker a few weeks ago and then lophie just bohght 100 or so shares from havelock a few days ago.

Havelock does not have enough volume for these high volume trades.

Anyways 0.6 is a steal for these shares if gen3 meets simulated specs.

No news that i can recall except the claims from Mr Pumpkin and Jutarul's reporting. Imho price has been pushed up by hope, anticipation and extrapolation mostly, as it has seemed to do since ever decreasing dividends. We're clearly in a blind phase but it kinda was expected since skipping gen2 but gen3 specs are well worth the trouble. if you dont feel confortable with this, the only thing i could suggest would be to buy the rumor and sell the news Wink

Hardly a panic.

Friedcat makes strategic moves not tactical ones. From all my readings he isn't chasing his tail like most of the other ASIC makers to pedal a few sub par chips before they go broke. ASIC's will come out when they will achieve their aim IMHO and that's when they are optimized in cost and performance while being produced and deployed in sufficient numbers to achieve a clear advantage.

Speculation is going to run wild. Stick to references from credible sources. One who is quoted, is known to have knowledge and would protest to being misrepresented. The rest is just noise.

The daily growth rate has been steadily falling since November last year. It really looks like the explosion in network difficulty is seriously slowing down.
Not so long ago we were speculating the total network hashrate could quickly reach 1000PH/s. Now we're at 30PH/s and even 100PH/s seem far off.

Friedcat indicated in the "Chinese girl interview" that he would deploy/sell at least a few hundred PH/s.

So: What percentage of total bitcoin hashrate will be using AM's chips within 12 months?
More than 50% does not seem unreasonable.

Assuming selling chip ROI >= mining ROI (else FC should't be selling chips) then 50% of total hashrate = 650,000 coins = more than 1 Btc per share

The problem with that assumption is that mining ROI varies from location to location. In China, it may be the case that fast, stable internet and large amounts of clean power are expensive. And by clean, I don't mean environmentally friendly, I mean stable voltage and current.
