This is strange, i/we have been waiting for this date for 2 months now, without even knowing whether a tapeout will occur or FC actually states something. And now this day has come and everything is hazy (as expected) and yet everything is moving and something seems to be in the air...

Why has share price just jumped from 0.57 to 0.63 in 3 minutes? Good news coming? This is exciting ....

They could have bought yesterday for 0.57 ...... somebody *knows* something ..... the news is out, just we haven't seen it yet. Gone to 0.648 now

Of course everybody is allowed to have his own opinion and also to express it.
But saying that ROI based on dividends is atl is simply WRONG! Besides that - it doesn't matter anyway at this stage.

Yes, the dividend of this week is higher than that of last week so it is not the ATL. Moreover, there's a long period without dividend so apparently the ATL is 0 and we will never have an ATL again. But saying that ROI based on dividends is atl is simply WRONG! Besides that - it doesn't matter anyway at this stage.

No intention to argue about the future price and this is not speculation thread anyway. I understand every share holder has a good wish and usually does not want to hear negative opinion. Never mind, please ignore what I said and I change my reminder to the new comers. Please think it twice before you buy shares at current price.

No matter whether there's news and whatever the new is, now is the time to sell the shares if you are not a long term investor. The doubling of share price has already assumed the successful tape-out. Just a friendly reminder.

My friendly reminder is based on my own opinion. Moreover, in my own opinion passing hot potatoes to the last buyers is not noble. It should be warned that the current price is way above the reasonable price considering the low dividends. ROI based on dividends is all time low in the AM history.
Moreover, my reminder is to those non-long-term investors. Therefore, no reason for you (apparently you are a long term investor never thinking about selling in the near future right) to concern about the current price, in my own opinion.

can someone explain me why is the tapeout such an important step? i just googled the meaning and for my understanding, its a step even before you have a prototype in your hands?
Yes, it's the finish of software design. The success of tape-out at least shows the design is correct and the simulation gives the promising result.
