Honest 80s business!
Oh geez, what a mess. Usually the price rebounds at least to some degree after going down... I don't know... 200%??? But this is just insane. Yeah, ask side seems to be frozen atm... So either Havelock is malfunctioning or we can only push even further down from here. I suspect the latter -.-

Well, AMHash price seems to be holding pretty well...

Of course, trading of amhash are stoped.... so price will never move.... !!!!  Grin Grin Grin

Yeah, and I'm quite certain that also AM1 just needs a small nudge and it'll continue yesterday's dive towards 0.01... Ask side not moving at all. People are desperate.

We can't trade AMHash???  They stopped the trading?  Why would they DO THAT??!!

Because of the unclear situation. I don't know what you know about the current situation, but AMHASH can't pay no dividends because friedcat (the boss of AM) disappeared without a trace. Havelock and/or AMHASH decided it's better to suspend the trading of AMHASH... Maybe to protect investors, don't know...

Wait til (if) trading resumes for that sweet 95% drop.

It's a shame that there's no option for shorting or leveraged trading on Havelock Tongue Someone should suggest that to the people running Havelock!

Apparently, AMHASH had stopped performing and no one thought to tell the public. Not just that, but FriedCat, being the only person in control of ASICMINER’s and AMHASH’s private keys, has disappeared off the face of the earth as well, not having been seen or heard from since January. His last posts on BitcoinTalk were on January 25, 2015. Some speculate that he has been kidnapped, but many more simply think that he and his business partners let temptation get the better of themselves.

This is the one piece of info that really shocked me in the Bitcoin Reporter article, the rest was already known from here. I don't know about the author's sources, but just the idea of AM completely ignoring the bus factor, given its size, is just plain... flabbergasting Shocked

But do you honestly believe that?

Alright... People start speculating that FC may be in for the death penalty if he indeed transferred AM assets (or alike) to RM or AMHASH in order to 'bleed the company out': https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10723045
Huh
Ppl 'speculating' there don't even know, or are not on clear yet, what ASICMiner is: 'bleeding AM out' by giving 10% commission on selling 3.4PH as cloud mining?

FWIW:
It seems a shame to let the BE300 go un-produced.
hello, BE300 project is still on going with the rest of AM team as I know. however ,since AM lost FC, a lot of decisions are probabaly hard to make.

Also FWIW:
have any of the AM board members spoken out?
please wait the upcoming statement from the board of AM.

Yeah all nice and well, but how is it supposed to be funded with FC (probably) having (the only!?) access to large amounts of AM's funds. Ask-side on Havelock doesn't seem to be going down... I guess we'll see dumps below the 0.01s... Might just take the chance and double my (presumably worthless) holdings ;(

Highly interesting that people like rockxie actually *increased* their holdings in AM even late last year! That at least makes me feel not so stupid anymore - I mean they'd know if something was severely going down the drain there...

I was wondering the same. Does anyone have a list of current board members?

The real holders are screwed since they have no way to sell. They are true bag holders in this scam.

The real holders got 6x their investment back. It's not some big issue for them if they sell or not now.

BF doesn't aim at home miners, but they are a major driver of difficulty increases. Bitmain's always priced their hardware based on estimates of their earning potential as opposed to BOM cost. Bitfury not submitting a large wafer order makes every S5 more valuable, therefore they charge more.

While it's possible they are talking about Asicminer, there's a lot more issues there that Bitmain would have been well aware of for much longer than the last 6 hours. I'd give better odds on it being Bitfury, and it's definitely not a shoe-in for being Asicminer.

With regards to BitFury, I can't really think of anything aggressive about their new chip or their schedule from what I've read. Guy from Spondoolies said that their next gen chip would be significantly better than 0.2 J/Gh and that it was a few months away. Then again, KnC supposedly taped out their 16nm ASIC on the 3rd of February.

So, Spondoolies or KnC seem more likely to me.

Agreed, but it doesn't hurt to point out that there are over 30,000+ shares of AM1 on havelock right now, and ONLY a total of 2,000 up for sale currently.

And no word from any major shareholders.

..  and if you go back through the thread a few hundred pages, most of the voices you see now are basically new to this thread.

So, I'm not saying that everything is fine, just that perspective counts.... never discount manipulation, or that Friedcat moved locations due to reasons outside of our knowledge.....  Who knows, maybe he's drunk in an alley, got eaten by a shark, or is currently out getting laid to celebrate Gen 4...

If you're a gambler hit BUY... if not, hit SELL.        This thread is full of WAY to much drama.

Edit:  Yes... Sharks are still with in the realm of possibility...after all, this is bitcoin.

As far as I can tell they have not.

To be more specific, the entire ask orderbook on havelock is under 2000 shares total, of the 33,400+ outstanding..

In other words, recent volume may be 'high', but hardly representative of what 'major' shareholders would consider a 'dump' so much as 'cheap shares'.
