Apparently people who are in close contact with him - company colleagues, etc. but also his wife have lost contact to him. So either this is all a huge scam an everyone is involved or he has abandoned everyone or got kidnapped.

Hmm.. After a quick read through here I realize that Friedcat probably got tired of reading the trolls, said fuck it, took his cash/coin and settled down for a nice cup of tea in some backwater town with no internet, Asic, or whining little children.... maybe found a girlfriend or got a haircut... can't say I blame him.
