This is a great strategy. I think if we ask shopkeeper on every visit of us about the bitcoin to make the payment with the use of it then after this incident shopkeeper will understand the importance of bitcoin and it will make the change, and hopefully, it will add another payment method for paying.
in my opinion, maybe the store will not accept bitcoin because investing in bitcoin is not easy. if you pay with bitcoin he will be confused about what bitcoin is. if the store can already invest it might receive it.

How many times have you came in a store and asked whether or not they accept bitcoin when you wanted to pay?

Should we do that EACH time we visit ANY store?
Would we create a huge advertisement for BTC that way?

Would stores start accepting it when they encounter a couple of people on a weekly basis asking them if they accept bitcoin?

Should we start doing this? o.o
Should we create a community so hard core that asks for everything they pay if it could be handled in BTC?
Asking stores if they accept Bitcoin will be a good strategy for introducing Bitcoin to the local marketers and stores. Irrespective of the nature of the product being sold, Bitcoin can facilitate the payment of every good and service.

In my country, cryptocurrency is forbid if used for payment in any merchant. Our government dont have regulation about cryptocurrency and thats why there is no merchant accepting cryptocurrency.

At present, some companies are trying to use digital currency. This means that digital currencies are making some progress in traditional payment scenarios. Despite the low demand for payments using digital currency, people are also preparing for new market trends and forms of trading.

Of course, it may be too early to talk about the future of digital currency as a means of payment. As digital currencies become more regulated, market participants will slowly learn about digital currencies and try to work with them.

Not necessary.

It's fine if people asked a request for a first time but it will be annoying if it will be done lots of times. Let them received lots of demands by different persons. Let the process flows automatically and see if stores will consider accepting crypto in the future.

Even they will received lots of requests about accepting bitcoin in their stores, still it will goes thru a process of brainstorming if that is a must thing to be implemented.

Trust the Process.
Yes I think so also, not because theg received many request about paying using bitcoi I think still they wont going to accept it. There are some rules that it needed to follow first. We all bitcoin are all hoping that it will happen in the furure where bitcoin can be used widely and easily and we doesnt need to convert it into fiat anymore.

It's not a bad idea what's you're suggesting, to be honest I never asked a store if they accept bitcoin but usually in Yelp for example you can see that kind of info, it actually says "Accepts bitcoin" and "yes/no", it would be nice if they add a filter for that.

It is not a bad idea and i like the way you tagged the act as hard core really. Though i'm sure that most big establishments are on to it, you're idea might just create a progressive ripple effect, an advertising that looks silent yet deafening.

Sometimes, intentional marketing at a personal level can be as much effective as headlines and billboards. Imagine the buzz it could create should each enthusiasts campaign for bitcoin for a certain period of time. Some might see this as far fetched and very little, but i think it's worth a shot to stir great interest among the public.

What a genius idea! Yes, all is in our hands so let's make our payment process comfortable for us. The stores need to realize how powerful is bitcoin and how many users it has and adapt their selling process accordingly. Stores need to make a purchasing process convenient to their customers and increase their satisfaction with a service. Businesses that will take this action will be ahead of time and their competitors at the market.

sometimes i do ask stores if they accept bitcoins as payment. some say they are thinking of it but most say they dont. but the good thing is that there are already a steady growing number of stores and companies accepting bitcoins for their items or trades. i m hoping that more companies will see the advantages of accepting bitcoins

I don't need to ask, because there are no shops in my area that accept payment using bitcoin, and I prefer to change to fiat if I want to spend it.

I often do this whenever I go to shops, stores, and other places I frequently visit. It helps with the publicity since the people around me could hear what me and the attendant are talking about. The stores might even consider accepting it if they see that more people asks if they can pay through this method so its a win-win.

Now, there is no need to ask it even. You can find in Google the list of the stores that take Bitcoins and some other popular cryptocurrencies. Casinos also inspire gamblers to pay with BTC.

For stores to accept Bitcoin payments, it needs to depend on a number of factors. Bitcoin needs to be accepted for use in that country and it must be well-known that it is applied to the payment of the goods. If Bitcoin is allowed to be used for payment, it is good news for Bitcoin users.
it is not a matter of that, of course a store will choose money directly rather than bitcoin because money is the daily needs of the shop owner. of course the shop owner also needs learning and understanding if bitcoin is accepted in a store so that it doesn't confuse how to use it.

I like your idea. This bitcoin advertisement is quite interesting. But it will not affect much. I think the most effective way is to advertise bitcoin through the media and send  positive message about bitcoin to get support from the government. The government's decision on bitcoin has a positive impact on people and helps people know more about bitcoin.

I think this is a good idea, it will raise the popularity of bitcoin among sellers. If there is demand there will be an offer. It is a pity that not every country can use bitcoins. Hopefully this will change in the near future and any person will be able to pay for the purchase by bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.

It is not necessary. You can't just asking shop to shop wether they accept bitcoin payment or not. It would be so annoying. I think the stores would have a sign to let bitcoin users know that they are accepting bitcoin as a payment.

I often go to store but it did not happened that I asked the cashier if they are accepting any kind crypto as a payment to their product and I think we should not always do that. If they are accepting, i think they are the one who will ask the customer if the customer woukd like to pay crypto or what.

Advertisement regading btc ? Hhmm . It will have both positve and negative effects and lots of consequences since not all people or Government is pro to crypto.

I think this is actually interesting. The fact that there are certain stores wherein they accept cryptocurrencies is such innovative. I don’t see anything wrong about asking each store if they accept cryptos as a payment but never ask the same store otherwise it’ll get annoying.

It is okay to ask you the stores but boring them with same question may sound ridiculous. There are a lot of factors responsible for the limited number of merchants accepting bitcoin today. I am sure that merchants accepting bitcoin will increase as bitcoin users skyrocket.
