People do really believe that Btc wont loose its dominance. XD

Nothing is permanent though but basing up on the demand or the support of the community towards btc then its really hard
to tell or to believe that it would lose its dominance anytime soon.Adoption is on the move and such recognition
wont really be moving backwards.

It’s quite impossible for us to imagine that another cryptocurrency will beat Bitcoin and make it lose its dominance, but in this world there is nothing impossible, it only seems impossible because we have not seen it happen. You can take networking and social media as an example: when there was MySpace, it seemed like it was going to be at the top forever and no one then will ever believe that by this time the social platform would be no more. But it did happen and MySpace lost it to Facebook which is now the king of social media this day.

So, I am not going to doubt this, because another cryptocurrency can come out from nowhere tomorrow and backed by a strong team that would beat Bitcoin hands down. For now, let’s just cruise with bitcoin till then.

In my opinion, bitcoin will not lose dominance in the market. Whatever the price of bitcoin, bitcoin will always  dominate the market.
Because altcoin prices will always followed bitcoin prices. I have researched and analyzed, the result is bitcoin is too strong when
compared to altcoins. Ethereum as the best altcoin can't beat bitcoin, after all since bitcoin created until now bitcoin has never lost
its dominance.

Domination is not price dependent because domination means power. It is for this reason that when Bitcoin reaches this price, it will not be right to comment that it loses its market dominance and market dominance. However, I think that by making a few assumptions, answers can be given to the question you mentioned;
First Assumption: Bitcoin will lose its market dominance if the investor loses confidence and new traders stop buying Bitcoin.
Second Assumption: Although this possibility is difficult for today and near future, if a more useful and successful project can be created from Bitcoin, then it will lose Bitcoin dominance.
Third Assumption: Bitcoin will lose its market dominance if the current investor and the new investor turn to alternative cryptocurrencies.
Fourth Assumption: In case of very bad or extreme negative news about Bitcoin, it will lose its market dominance.

It's hard to mention at what price Bitcoin's domination within the crypto market will loose However if an excessive amount of goes down Bitcoin will lose its dominance Many will stop using Bitcoin. most of the people in crypto depend upon Bitcoin and Bitcoin may be a very fashionable currency. therein case it's unlikely to travel down an excessive amount of Bitcoin prices will rise later this year it's a poor value which will never go down.

In my own personal opinion, it is impossible for bitcoin to lose it's dominance because a lot of people are putting most of their money in bitcoin than altcoins and a lot of people are depending on bitcoin, so if bitcoin will have a chance to lose it's value definitely every cryptocurrency in the market will also lose it's value.

Here's the thing, people are buying bitcoin instead of altcoin as their main cryptocurrency, so traders (to consider) are doing this so that if an altcoin is probably promising at time, they have bitcoin to buy it. In other people such as normal investors or hodlers, they buy bitcoin because they think bitcoin is the most volatile, that means that the ROI will be higher if they bought huge amount of it. And buying huge amount of bitcoin will push it's price way up higher making it dominate the entire market.

Bitcoin will sooner or later lose its price dominance in the cryptocurrency market. Everything related to technology will never stand still. Everything that stops in development goes into oblivion. Cryptocurrency will develop and its development will erase sharp edges in price and other differences.

It is losing its dominance but not the price. Bitcoin will always be the dominating crypto currency in terms of hf its price, there will be no debate about that. For 10 years, there is no other crypto that surpassed bitcoin in terms of its price. Bitcoin may lose its value in the future, but as long as there are people wanting to use it, it will never die.

I don't think there will be something like *loosing dominance* am more worried about other cryptocurrencies taking over Bitcoins..it doesn't even have to go below a certain point . .

But at the same time it is most trustable and secure . People have more opportunities here and they seem to like the simple interface of Bitcoins.

I think even if the value is 500$ people will still use it somehow somewhere .

You are quite possibly right, but chances are alts will overcome bitcoin in nearest decade or two.
Anyway bitcoin is and will forever remain as first crypto ever so it will hold its place forever

We have seen a pretty decent drop today as well as you can see. Bitcoin price dropped like crazy in the last 24 hours but the altcoin prices stood still and didn't dropped down which basically caused the dominance to fall down. I don't know if this can continue when bitcoin goes up but that would make dominance go down even more if bitcoin goes back up over 8k but altcoins increase even faster.

I doubt that part will happen but the only reason why the current situation happened is that people who want to get out of altcoins are already mostly out and this happened so quickly that people didn't had time to react and change stuff up. I personally want to stay in altcoins for a little while longer as well, this causes bitcoin to weaken and alts to strengthen.

Bitcoin price is not the thing that will lose dominance or earn dominance, it is the altcoin prices. If bitcoin is a million dollars, what about altcoins? Are they going up like that as well so if altcoins go up that means bitcoin could be a million dollars each and as long as alts go up as well there won'tb e a dominance change. If bitcoin goes down to one pizza, that wouldn't change if alts go down as well.

The question here is not what bitcoin price will be, it is what altcoins will be like, if altcoins move higher than bitcoin then the dominance of bitcoin will go down, if altcoin prices under-performs bitcoin that means dominance will go up. I do not see dominance as any important metric tho, I mean who cares about what the dominance of bitcoin is as long as we profit.

Using history as a comparison can strengthen your analysis and your opinion but that is not entirely true. I'm a little dissatisfied with your opinion, but there are many factors that exist in the fundamentals and market reaction to dominance in the crypto market. bitcoin has a thing that altcoin (community) doesn't have. although this has been a different year, but the time can answer the analysis that the user made.

until now i think the dominance of bitcoin is still very influential in the market, whether it's up and down. not sure what will make altcoins lose bitcoin dominance in the market, because even though altcoins can increase when bitcoin loses its dominance, in reality increasing altcoins won't happen strongly and only for a few moments

If BTC price declines lower than the other SHA256 coins like BCH or BCH SV, then it will lose its dominance. It won't be probable though, considering both altcoins need to maintain its price when BTC price decrease. Since usually, when BTC price decreases, the other altcoins would also go down.

Another scenario is when there is a legit new technology (better than contemporary blockchain technology). In this case, the crypto market would be trashed down. Not probable currently, but who knows?
The fact is that when answering this question, you always pay attention to the statement of many analysts who say that only that cryptocurrency will survive that will be in demand in society, as well as that will be really used in everyday life of a person.  If it is Bitcoin, then his fate is really connected with great success.  But taking into account the fact that there are cryptocurrencies that surpass Bitcoin in some respects in some respects in terms of technical characteristics, there is doubt about the great prospects for the future.  Based on this, it is very difficult to predict something and we will only have to observe what is happening.
