It's been a few days since new marketing strategies have been executed. What is next after the bus stop campaign, cointelegraph articles and local Iceland media? The price is suffering because of the media blackout.

It saddens me to see the numerous attempts here once more to derail the good and hard work done here by our dev-team. I have been the most strongest adversary against a moderated thread but I now have come to a point where I guess Bimmerhead is right.

Auroracoin is a very serious project that has very serious people working on it. All of us dedicate a good portion of our time (some even more than their RL jobs) and we also have invested tens of thousands Euro's and dollars into it from our own private funds. I therefor see this as a serious enterprise that can no longer afford to be heisted by a couple of angry kids with attitude problems.

Believe me, I don't mind your continuous retarded remarks, for in the end they only make you look stupid. I do however think it's seriously sad and damaging to this project that a large portion of our team has to put time and effort in these useless convo's. It shows their good will and dedication, but also starts to disrupt the good work that still needs to be done.

I am going to lock this thread now and will start to build a new moderated one today. This will be mostly an informative thread to update people on our progress. Open and constructive discussions will be allowed, even if someone has doubts about things and raises thoughts of scam, but only if that leads to transparent and decent discussions, otherwise it will be removed and placed in a separate thread we will call the aur-troll-box.

I'm sorry for anyone that might have trouble with this, but I can no longer allow these childish games to interfere with the great work our team produces.

No worry's, we have been around for some time and know the drill. One thing you can be sure on, what i(we) post is legit. We live on a small island where everybody knows everyone. Our reputations is far more valuable than some bct fud. All of us here are working on this project are doing this 100% and if anyone here thinks we don´t have a full plan in process you are wrong. We will not provide "proof" of our customer base or "proof" of any other news and projects. We have not or will say something that we can not stand by.

People are funny, we find out Vice, a billion dollar alt news agency may be doing a feature on AUR and everyone is worried over a time lapse video of some bus stops.

To the AUR foundation reps here I hope you recognize this is an obvious (and weak) fud attempt just to drop the price, notice the newb accounts and people who haven't logged in since 2 years ago all come out of the woodwork after a weekend to claim nothing is happening. Don't get discouraged or think this is representative of the real community.

See... this is the problem with people like you, Porte.  People want to know what we're thinking about or planning, but then shit on us when we don't do something that we mention as a possible side project.  But then we don't mention what we're doing and people think we're doing squat.

Regardless, you obviously missed the point of the bus campaign if you think it was just to make a video.  We said we were looking at making a video as an added project to show the community here.  It wasn't the reason for the campaign.  We don't need it for the bus campaign's purpose to be fulfilled... that was already done.  It raised awareness of AUR in Iceland, and it continues to raise awareness through the media coverage it received.

Again, are you more concerned with a hype video that will be seen once and forgotten, or can we continue to work on the things that are going to drive adoption?  Soltantgris has already asked if anyone would like to work on the video.  Instead of being a constant downer about a video that has no impact on the success of the coin's adoption, why don't you do it?  After all, you're the one who's so adamant about it being done.  You probably would hate anything we put together at this point anyway, so who better to do it than you?  If you're so concerned about things getting done... volunteer your time to help.  If you can't do it, find someone to help... be a productive member of this community.

Either way, stop shitting on us over a video that doesn't mean anything to the long term success of this coin.

To be honest with you, this kind of naive attitude like you have been displaying here plainly strips me of any desire to publish this video and just to have any kind of reporting here at all. I can't speak for other members of our dev group but personally I just post here in hope to engage with a community with the same interest and passion for cryptocurrencies as I have and is more from respect to the community here rather the need for it for Auroracoin's success. But when the only response from people here are of the selfish naive nature I would expect from my 4 year old son and a complete disrespect of the time and effort that I and others are putting towards this project then I stop seeing the purpose and usefulness of this forum.

You're joking, right? The poster campaign is over for one week and you demand to see the video already. What is your rush?

OP, can we PLEASE go to a moderated thread. This one is a waste of time for supporters of Auroracoin.

I am talking about this kind of time-lapse, where is it? we can not say things and then don't do it, I say I would like the success of this project  but not with this attitude of saying and not doing it. Were you promised a time lapse video of all 100 posters by May 9th? I'm unclear as to exactly what your problem is. Please clarify for us.

So you want media proof of the media campaign. But the media campaign was designed to reach Icelanders with the Auroracoin brand. What is the point of the media proof for you?

The video was more for hype like saying there is over 500 registered users in 30 hours. I don't mind the lies if it contributes to marketing but I am angry that all development and marketing has come to a sudden stop!
