Skyenet thank you for adding the disclosure to the FAQ. I've removed my negative trust on you, as you have addressed my concern here.

I haven't been following this thread for a while, what is happening? I bought a key using your automated store, will my key be affected? I see the 2 negative trusts from vod, which before I argued were not valid just because VOD was being biased due to the company being VOD which he worked for.

There is no reason to think your code won't work necessarily, and as far as I know there have been no complaints about this specific sellers codes. So if that's what you're asking, nothing has happened that should concern you. MSDN licenses aren't transferrable though, which means your license isn't "technically" valid, and could in theory be cancelled by MSFT if they found out about it, and that should be disclosed to buyers before the purchase imo. Vod has some other concerns I don't fully understand, but you'll have to take that up with him.

Well the key only costed me 5$. A real license costs 100$. So if this key got taken down, within a couple minutes I could get a new one from the automated website. In fact I could do that 20 times before it would have been cheaper to get a real subscription, which I doubt I will have to buy 20 new keys.
I could also switch buyers if this one turns out to be a scammer, and then have a warrenty from them if they are nice enough.

As I said, my gripe with him is one of disclosure. Beyond the lack of disclosure I don't think he is scamming buyers, or at least I have no information that he is.

Yep, I am a buyer and have not been scammed. The key still works and I got it almost instantly from his automatic instant site. I have not felt like scammed, and I think he gave his word that if the key doesnt work he will give another one but I don't know how this works, I haven't seen anyone needing another key yet.

yup because nobody will ever need a new key unless they purposely leak it online or give it to 5 million of their friends etc.

I am glad you are a happy customer. I will always provide refunds etc if its proven not working which has never happened. I also do replacement if they don't want a refund.

I kept my word as is.

You do know there are two types right?

No I don't, please explain it, so I know what sort of license terms I'm getting if I buy one of these. Better yet, post a copy of the license terms or an explanation of those terms from Microsoft as I did (for the other type?).

You will be getting retailed based keys just as if you are buying from best buy or target etc...

Please post a copy of your MSDN license terms that says that, or some sort of reference to it on Microsoft web site, because it isn't something I'm familiar with at all.

Well obviously I am not supposed to be selling them but I am. I am breaking their terms but I was just clarifying that Vod was making false accusations saying that it was a hacked msdn.

Its clear that sales of the keys are against their rules. People still sell it.

Can you put that in your FAQ so people are informed about what they are buying? If so, I will be content to leave it alone and you can argue it out with Vod. As it stands now it looks to me a bit like you are scamming since you don't make the issue clear to buyers.

That is not scamming...but I will add it to FAQ.

You say "keys" but I want to know, if I buy one of these keys, do I have a valid license to use the software or am I unlicensed but the keys allow me to install it anyway?

These keys are for my personal use and which I don't use them so I don't have any rules. Once the key is sold its yours, You can do what you please with it. I do not touch it or use it. What you do with the key is up to you. Obviously posting the key for the public or using it to torrent sites as keys or some sort can get your key blacklist.

I just recommend buy only for personal not resale (although you can)

My question is, if I buy one of these keys do I have a valid license to use the product. Like if Microsoft comes in and audits my business or makes some complaint against me personally, am I licensed or not?

Yes it will be valid license you will not get any problems.

I find that somewhat strange since as far as I can tell, MSDN licenses only allow "design, development, testing, and demonstration" of programs. I'm not doing any of those things.

Here's what I found in the document "Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and MSDN Licensing" on Microsoft's web site:

Do you have a different sort of MSDN subscription that has different license terms? If so, please post a copy of those license terms so I would know what I'm buying.
