My comment:

I have wait for customs in poland more than 3 days.
It is worth one day to contact DHL before and give them avability to make customs for you by signing some paper.
Customs and vat tax and DHL extra price was sth about 517PLN (Polish Zloty)

If someone wan't to ask or sth PM.

It works constantly with more than 70Gh/s with 300Mhz in server room with 20-22 celcius ambient temp made by aircondition

Mine was awaiting customs clearance for about 3 days. Then I got a text asking me to pay customs charges. If anyone is UK, its worth checking https://epayments.dhl.co.uk/ to see if you have an unpaid charge that they haven't notified you about which is holding up clearance.

EDIT: Oh, note of caution, if you do have an outstanding charge on the epayments website, pay it on the phone (they hand you to an automated line). Their online CC payment gateway is horrible, it flaked out twice on me leaving me substantially out of pocket for a few days until the charges dropped off my bank acct.

My guess (hope) is 100% shipped.

I assume there is always that 1 pesky order that has everything go wrong; 100% is very, very difficult in the real world.
But I think we were at 90% last week, and a flood of "I got mine" announcements are arriving.

That does not make sense to me. You can buy anything as private person, plane,car, ship etc

.What does dimensions or cost has to do with release? Batch 2 is around $1500? Only if you provided company as buyer, and if invice title mismatch (bitsyscom placed your company as buyer but you want to pick it up as a private person/ or representative of that company) then I assume that would justify it and customs would require to link you to that company. Still, what you have explained I simply do not understand, wierd.
Worst part, your country is within EU, so you should have the same customs regulations as any other EU country.
My advice, search exact law or regulation what justify their decision and find out what you can and what is this really about.

I just phoned Parcelforce to see how long my units will be in customs....

They have been released and are on their way to my local depot!!

But neither of the packages had a house number on them so it's a good thing I called when I did!

~40 hours from Email msg w. track-NR received, until it finally appeared on DHL site.
Almost as expected. In my order I have asked EMS, but for some reason in comes by DHL. Hmmm, what ever !

These horror stories really opened my eyes as to how messed up and unreliable international shipping carriers and customs can be, for individuals as opposed to businesses.

Romania, the European Union. It's not that the carriers are unreliable as much as customs having a stick up their collective arse.

Govermant want to charge VAT and to do so they need Inovice to be present in the package. Declared value means nothing to them (if you are unlucky to live in country what is strict on that).
You should go to customs and try to explain them, take printscreen (avalon-store) to prove your story, give them a link if needed. You will be charged VAT on whole value + shipping, but at least you will get your avalon.
