Quality of life request. Please add the ability to display the temp/weather as a miner so you can put it into the miners list and reference it against miner temps. Comparing ambient against miner temps is very important for diagnosing cooling.
Thanks for the feature request. I assume you already found the Outside temperature (Weather at a specific location) feature and this can be displayed in the Graph for a selected miner. The concept you ask for about displaying it compared to the miner temperature in the miner list is however not yet available.

Yup, appreciate it... It's very easy to read if it's in the miner list. Like the proactive updates as well.

Another feature request, some third party firmwares need to have their stats reset if they're idle or if you're adjusting them. Like real time and average performance numbers. Sometimes you need to reset the performance stats without a complete reset, please add the ability to manually reset them.

hi Patrike

Could it be that in rules->Actions there was an action to ignore the current pool when a condition were met? I want to set a rule that when a miner's profit or renevue is determined, it locks the current pool for a certain time
Hi and thanks for your request.

Is this a profit switching miner (Managed Profit Miner) where you don't want the profit switcher to automatically change the pool if it finds anything more profitable?

If the purpose is simply to reduce the number of switches you can define two thresholds in the Options dialog, Profit switching section. You can have one "Switching interval" and one "Additional switching interval", where you can use them in combination with a threshold to not switch unless there is something significantly more profitable available.

Thanks for your answer. The idea arises because many of us are mining at a loss. The idea is to have a kind of Revenue Profit Switcher. This does not exist. I know that if we put the expense=0 we have it, but I am also interested in AM telling me my expense/income. It is only a way to discriminate the low income pools within the current profit switcher system. Or have the option of instead of profit switcher a revenue switch per miner

Hey Patrike, another issue, looks like AM doesn't properly show temperatures from BraiinOS. I reported it to them and they said talk to you.
Thanks for the report. Can you please collect the following details and send me:

1) Select the miner and generate an API Report via the toolbar Tools -> API Report
2) Right click on the miner and select View Details. Go to the API Console tab, enter the command "temps" (without the quotes) and run. Please share the output with me.

Thanks!

Sent in a DM.

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a view only web view and even though I created a view only group in the security area and unchecked everything, users can still change pool configuration options and click into individual miners and change settings? Thanks
Is this when creating account on the local web server or additional cloud web users? I'm not able to reproduce the issue in any of those cases, but it might be some more specific scenario.

Could you please send me a screenshot of your configuration in the Security settings? Please send via the contact form on the web site:
https://www.awesomeminer.com/contact

Thanks!

Hi Patrike, This is when creating a view only account on the local web server, I have port forwarding setup to the local web sever so my finance guy can view but I do not want him to be able to change anything. I will send the requested info. TYVM

Hey Patrike, I've noticed some weird behavior with AM. While it's open it seems to periodically cause network latency spikes, I traced it to my router periodically from 10-30s having CPU spikes. It only occurs with AM open and linked directly to the program. I assuming there is some sort of unicast or multicast thing going on that's not behaving correctly with my router?
Thanks for your report.

The only time Awesome Miner do multicast is when using the Wake-On-LAN feature for GPU miners. Can you see anything in the Awesome Miner log file (toolbar: Tools -> Log File) during this period of time, if some specific activity is going on?

I sent a message with the log file attached.

I picked up some Octominer X8ULTRA PLUS chassis on the cheap locally from someone that's bailing.

Can AM interact with the on-board smart hardware watchdog & fan controller on these?

I  know Hive OS can, and I have most of my rigs running the Hive OS image but having AM manage everything.

What about if I run windows on the rigs?

Thanks
Unfortunately Awesome Miner doesn't have any specific support for controlling them

Dualmining ETC+Kas for example is not working - or should i say nearly all miners with dualmining etc+other coin did not working. AM didn´t add the commandline for the second coin.
Tested miners: lolminer (UBIQ+KAS not working for example), SRBminer (ERGO+Blake3/KAS/Heavyhash for example also didn´t work)
SRBminer dualmining option for RAD is not shown.

ETH+other coin work like a charm. But we need ethash algo + other coin after the merge, because we can mine other ethash coins like clo+kas for example, but this option is not working (i must add the whole command line by myself). So it need a bigger rework of this feature in my opinion.

Bug Report:
After a certain time (sometime 1 day and sometimes 5 days for example), AM not updating the value of the coins - it is stuck and so the profit switching stuck. Only restart of the main application help.
Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I've pushed a mining software definition update where both SrbMiner and Lolminer are updated for more dual mining options.

Can you please send me the Awesome Miner log file for the issue related to the coin updates? Please send the log file when you experience the issue. Thanks!

Sure i can. I have the same failure again and again. At the moment the btc price is around 19000 and AM show me around 19800.

To verify the exchange rate I recommend to use Coinbase. See the link below where you also can select EUR:
https://www.coinbase.com/price/bitcoin

On the 28th, the BTC exchange rate was never as low as 19000 EUR and looking at the graph the value of 19800 is likely correct.
