Documentation updated
The documentation/support section on the Awesome Miner web site has been improved. The new support pages can be found at https://support.awesomeminer.com/ and everything is now searchable to make it easier to find information.

Several of the pages have been updated and the work on improving the documentation will continue. Please let me know if you have any feedback.

Later on the support site will also be extended to include a forum where everyone can post feature suggestions and vote for features.

Perfect more and new documentation, although I do not have time for Scrypt and apis, it is always good to have everything at hand to consult.

A proper forum is the best thing you can do for your product and maintain both the bitcointalk and your own. It will always be easier to find information faster and more help in a forum often visited by the most experts in the program. Of course a great point in favor of the brand.

Hi @Patrike, I already informed you a few days ago that when mino nichehash, the profit is not shown in real time. If it appears in online services, and it does the switch auto, it is a pain to not see the profit in real time and therefore I do not have the mini profit statistics either.

I have waited to install the last update, but it has not been fixed. I ask for your help because I do not know where this fault comes from, even though I look at options I do not see anything that I can affect

I keep mining with nicehash and other pools, but it's a pain to not see the profit of nicehash. I have asked in my Telegram group and it only happens to me.
Can you check your Awesome Miner log file for connection issues to Nicehash? You can search for:
api.nicehash.com

Also make sure that in the Options dialog, Online Services section, you don't have any but the default value for Nicehash domain matching:
nicehash.com

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jzyvp2qalrbi1sn/AwesomeMiner-20180808_0120.log?dl=0

As I do not know what to look for, I leave you a screenshot of the configuration of online services, and I also leave a log for today, where nicehash appears several times, but I do not know if it is good or bad.

I do not know if it will influence, I chose Europe on the server.

ok, so in this time of dropping incomes and high power costs, i'm wondering if an option can be added to only run mining during certain times?

as in, add an option to set operating hours.  e.g. (only mining between these hours. start time 8am stop time 4pm) for those of use in high power cost areas with solar systems that can feed miners during the day.

i for one can't afford to run my rigs at these incomes with my high power costs. so, i'd love the ability to auto set sun up, sun down times to run on my generated free power times.

just a thought.

Hi,

Have you tried to use the Options -> Rules feature, there are time/scheduling triggers that can potentially achieve what you wanted
I case there is a need for an example of how to configure this, please see "Example: Run GPU mining during a specific time" in the Rules documentation

Cryptonight Profit Pool payout only in XMR.  moneroocean.stream

Anyone ever use/configure this pool?
@Patrike
I don't have any experience in this pool, but it should be possible to add like any other pool in Awesome Miner based on the pool URL's and ports they provide on their web site and in their FAQ. Let us know if you run into any issues.

Im mining just on all the default pools that you configure when you add a miner

I had a full rig of 1070ti , and another mixed rig Il try setting up profiles for both

Each righ was precise benchmarked and i am using Zerg, MPH, and NH. The rigs get stuck on X16R until disabled, then stuck on Lyra2z. Never switches. 3 minute intervals and 5% difference (lowered the difference from 15%) and still no switching. 8x1070 and 8x1080ti rigs.

Right click miner -> View Details, calculated result is consistent with what the miner is mining and reasonable?

I'm also guessing you are using Options -> Statistics -> you are using 24 hour estimates?

RVN difficulty dropped for a while during the last 48 hours and might have inflated that estimated figure even though the party was already over. The averaging on Yiimp pool estimates always gets inflated, each time a block is found for the algo port, it can skew the estimate fairly dramatically.

something is definitely off with the miner, on my 1070 rig its mining x16r , but eth is currently more profitable

I set no power params , eth plus any orher algo would be even more profitable but it innists on mining x16r

seems way off to me , 3 hrs benchmarking for nothing

This is what is happening to me. X16R Raven is not profitable at all, actually a loss for mining. Remove it then it gets stuck on lyra2z, cant get it to switch when other algos are more profitable.

Hi @Marvell2, @Regulater,

What pools are you mining with, switch interval, any particular pool(s) your miners gets stuck?

most importantly, right click on miners and what does the "View Details" list says as opposed to what the miners are mining?

A feature suggestion: "Auto Benchmark":

User selects profile and precision, AM then starts to benchmark all algorithms (like 'Select All' in the benchmark window). After it has finished benchmarking, it will save the results to the profile and automatically start mining using the new results.

Maybe a window with a summary of the results could be added too.

That could make sense for the initial benchmark. The future plan also to let Awesome Miner automatically update the profile hashrates while you are mining, to minimize the need of benchmarking.

This could bring some problems. For example x16r/x16s hashrate fluctuates a lot, other algorithms need some time to catch their real speed and when the profit switching is set to short time problems will pop. Keeping this in mind, I will suggest to let the miner to run for 15 min before the hash is taken in to consideration or even better set this time as parameter.

Btw, this is the way I bench my self. I set all the algorithm's hashrate to 1TH and let them pop one after another while saving their real hashrates to the profile.

My thoughts too, and that's exactly how I've been benchmarking lately. like @Austpool (perhaps fellow Down Under Dweller?), my mining is heavily impacted by high electricity costs, and like @Finnsk3 and @trucobit have pointed out, that currently AM lacks and could use a very important feature is to log performance values into a database that can be analysed/presented in a well, useful manner for profit switching decision making (human and machine).

Not to mention x16r / x16s have fluctuating hashrates, now HEX have fluctuating power usage too, thus an average/median value must be obtained via longer running benchmarks for both Hashrate and PowerDraw, it's essential for us miners who with high electricity cost as a major (or only) factor which dictates profitability.

Would it be possible to add mBTC or bits to the display currency? Ideally I'd like to be able to display revenue/profit in both mBTC and USD at the same time. Even better if that can be done on the web dashboard as well.

On the most recent version i am having issues with getting benchmarks to save to the profiles. I cant get any benchmarks to save to the profiles and have to save them to a clipboard then write in each one and choose the software. Is there anyway to fix this issue. Ran long benchmarks on all rigs, it changes on the benchmark page but does not change it on the profile page. Is this because im doing multiple rigs at once?

Also looks like profit switching is getting stuck for me. Will not switch algos even though others are more profitable. Especially getting stuck on X16R.
