Is there any APIs planned for adding/remove groups? Moving miners to groups? And adding/removing miners?

I have issues when try to benchmark any dual algorithms because I'm getting "No pools specified" every time.
Instead, when I try to benchmark single Ethereum, it works.

Try enable NiceHash in online services and profit switching (for benchmarking purposes only if you don't normally use them)
when benchmarking, only need to tick eth and it'll bench all dual algos claymore supports
to save, you have to tick all the ones with benchmarked results

Thanks for the help. When I enable NiceHash in online services and profit switching it seems to work.

Patrike, there is a new 5.5 bminer out btw, solved some problems with some pools

Also, does anyone know why a miner will not show it's pool?  I have 3 rigs, all on the same pool and 2 of them show the pool number under the miner name and one does not.  All are configured on the same AM and with the same pool setup.  It does so happen that the one that is not showing the pool is running a user installed version of 5.5 bminer (but I swear it showed the pool name prior without issues)

BUG: Not sure what causes it, but sometimes the Awesome Miner Remote Agent randomly toggles the 'Automatically start when windows starts' option.

I can verify that I am getting this bug as well, its causing conflict with Task Scheduler starting the Awesome Miner Agent on a 30 second delay as its now opening the one agent automatically and then the second after 30 seconds which then opens 2 miners which crashes the rig.
If this can be fixed or even better an option be added to the agent to allow for a delayed start it would be appreciated.  The delayed start allows windows to settle before a miner opens with custom overclocking command parameters (in my case on a 10 GPU rig).  Without the delayed start the miner opens and mines with the overclock settings not set.

In the past Ethminer had an API compatible to Claymore Ethereum miner. If you enable the API of Ethminer and use an External Miner in Awesome Miner where you specify Claymore Ethereum as software - is that configuration working?
hello, patrike

I have a feeling that there's a bug in Awesome Miner with per day/per month profit numbers when dual mining with Claymore ETH Miner.
I guess that Awesome Miner doesn't take into account the profit from mining second coin and shows eth-only profit.

the numbers in "view details" window are correct, but current profit seems to be always lower with the same hashrates as in profit profile, and the difference is almost equal to profit from second coin.

can you please take a look at this. thanks

BUG: Not sure what causes it, but sometimes the Awesome Miner Remote Agent randomly toggles the 'Automatically start when windows starts' option.

FEATURE REQUEST: If the Awesome Miner Remote Agent application is running, don't run another instance (and by extension, another duplicate mining instance).

The issue this comes from is that I have a script set to run various tools and other monitoring software prior to launching the Awesome Miner Remote Agent.  With both of the above issues, the Agent would launch preemptively, as well as twice.  This wasn't related to any software updates, and would sometimes re-enable itself right after I turned auto-launching off and rebooted the computer, but other times it would stay off.  The frequency of this occurring was directly proportional to how likely it was for me to walk out the door. /s

If your external miners just use the given ip address as name, it would be really comfortable to be able to select more than one miner to delete from the miners list the ones you don't use anymore (one is allowed to select and delete), than going to the options tab, external miners, than try to figure out which one is not in use anymore.

Question:

Is it possible to enable just some algos for a specific pool ?
For example I noticed that a pool is terrible on some algos and I want to mine just the selected algos on that pool, that I observed they are handled well by the pool.

Thanks.

Patrick,

Can we choose to order the coins value and online services by profit and not by revenue? Some algos take more power and the profit is lower than the revenue...
I will make Revenue and Profit two separate columns in the next release. This will make it possible to sort on any of them.
Yesss I forgot to ask for this!  Cool

Starting yesterday all 3 of my rigs started getting this error when mining for eth on mph.  They are 13 1060's mix of 3gb and 6gb cards on each rig.  page file set for 32gb in windows, windows defender disabled.  I have had no issues at all up until yesterday when all 3 started getting these errors.  I can't figure out what is going on.  Ideas?

Also the rig works fine mining eth in smos.

Hi,
Can you send me some additional details about this issue or maybe the log file? I would like to investigate this a bit more.

Keep in mind that Online Services can show more algorithms, that actually will be ignored by the miner because the Profile doesn't have any mining software enabled for this specific algorithm. If for example Claymore Ethereum miner is disabled in the profile, Ethereum will not be considered by the profit switcher and will not be displayed in View Details. The Online Services tab do still list Ethereum in this scenario.

Hi Patrike,

thanks for getting back, sorry bit occupied and may not be able to send you logs this time but I think this mostly attribute to the WhatToMine disruptions. what happens is the following from my observation, I'm paying a premium electricity rate (0.3 USD/kWh) and within the past 2 days, most coins became unprofitable which puts the profit into negative range. what happens with Whattomine outage is that it was unable to get coin price/data and lots of coins ended up just 0, in itself, it's not a problem but it happens that these coins that are now at 0...are actually having > profit than the ones I'm usually mining from AM's profit sorting perspective...0 being > negative numbers...and that's why it was mining random coins for the time Whattomine was down for us.

This can currently be partially solved with the workaround to set power consumption to 0w for every active profit profile...which brings into the following request:

*While it is good to have accurate entry for power consumption, it's not an easy task when there are many algos one wish to mine and have enabled...Lost track and some didn't have correct entry with mixed junk farm like mine. So is it possible that we can have bulk edit feature just like the online services for profit profile power consumption data entry?

Cheers!

Will this allow Profit switching to work, based on Revenue? For example if a card is making profit of $2 on NeoScrypt and power cost $1, the Revenue is $1 and the same card is making $1.8 on Eth and the power cost is $0.5, the Revenue is $1.3 I wold like Profit switching to switch to ETH. Right now the logic in profit switching will switch to NeoScrypt. Em I correct?

Are there any plans to support Ethminer?

https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/releases

I find it more efficient than Claymore.

Bump.  I use HIVE OS primarily but monitor the rigs using AM with each HIVE Rig configured as an external miner.  Works great, but now that I'm running Ethminer on some of the rigs, I can't monitor from AM due to lack of support.

Is Ethminer on the roadmap for AM?

Quark Bug:

There is a bug when using Quark algo. It is not calculating profit correctly. If I set my profit profile to 50MH/s with Quark the coins profit is far higher than if i were to change the coins set algo to something else and set that algo to 50MH/s in the profit profile.
The formula for calculating coins per day (which is part of the profitability calculations) are different on the Quark algorithm compared to almost any other algorithm. For this reason, entering the same coin properties for two coins, specifying Quark as algorithm for one of them and for example X11 on the other, the results will be different.

It might be that some specific Quark-based coin uses yet another formula - please let me know any details if you run into this.

coins again to update whattomine, many thanks to those who repaired the API
It looks like it was resolved on the WhatToMine side, where their API now works like it used to. Let's keep an eye on this.

v 4.5.5

Profit switching calculation seemed bugged. right clicking details of each miner now shows profit per day which works for individual coins/algos profit calculation, but mix that up with Online Services which I think give revenue per day or due to MH/GH calculation (this was not Yiimp, but NiceHash) my miners were mining random Sha3 and Blake2s..

Online Services shows
Eth
Equi
Neoscrypt
Lyra
Nist

Details Tab:
Sha3
Blake2s
random coins
and everything else negative

On the same profit profile....disabling all online services restored more or less normal behaviour....looks like profit/revenue conflict and online services (predefined or User Defined) took precedence regardless coins tab profit info.
