Will there be support for L3+ and D3? I just bought the license that has Bitmain support for the s9's but I got about 25 other asics coming in and would love to control it with these and I guess upgrade my license.
Antminer L3+ is already supported and quite popular to use together with Awesome Miner.

Antminer D3 will probably work out of the box, but it needs to be confirmed once people are getting their D3's.

Now maybe I am a bit slow. But if I have purely an Asic mine going will profit switching work like will they jump to different pools. So far All I have setup is NiceHash and zpool and slushs pool as a fail safe. Yet I never seen my S9'S leave NiceHash.

L3+ Are landing all next month so I didn't get to play with them yet.
Profit switching is more popular for GPU mining, because the wide range of algorithms and frequent changes on what's most profitable. For ASIC mining, most people simply just use Nicehash and a few more pools as you do, without any profit switching enabled.

Awesome Miner can do profit switching for ASIC's as well, using the External Profit Switching feature is enabled and the Antminer is in Privileged API mode. In this scenario, Awesome Miner will simply set the pool priority of the pools you already have defined, so if zpool becomes more profitable than Nicehash, Awesome Miner can instruct your Antminer to prioritize zpool instead.

The 'Computer Idle' rule doesn't seem to work for me.  I don't know if there is some device plugged into the PC generating inputs so it is resetting the counter, or if it just doesn't work.  I see the 'no longer idle' event go off when I make a new rule containing that trigger, but the idle event never works.
I will write a small guide for that feature today or tomorrow, where you can compare with your configuration. You need two separate User defined rules for this. One of the triggers in each.
Aye, that's how I have it set up - the idle is never triggering though.  I tried setting it up just as a notification to see.  The "Not Idle" will trigger as soon as I open Awesome Miner

EDIT: Disregard, I literally wrote a program to poll the windows idle timer and found out it was getting reset every second and closed programs one by one until I figured out the problem - it turns out Corsair LINK does this (and prevents screen saver and monitor off and system sleep in the process).  Idle works exactly as expected when Corsair LINK is closed.

Hello Patrike,

I just saw that AM was recently updated.
I haven't been reading the thread lately so please forgive me if this has been explained already.

With the new changes, is it finally possible to add a new coin and link it to WTM or CoinWarz ID so that AM can always keep its difficulty and other info updated?

Used at the time open VPN, easy to configure, the server put on the PC, and 20 clients were connected to it. For AM is the simplest option

Awesome Miner must be running on a Windows computer - either on the same network as your miners or remote (at your home location) over a VPN connection. (...)

Is there any smart & easy way to connect rigs and AM via some 3rd party super-easy VPN Software? I thought about setting up OpenVPN but maybe theres a easier aproach? Just curious what people are using.

I've use neorouter in the past with great success.  These days, I just my router's OpenVPN setup.  It's a little more tricky to setup, but it's rock-solid.

I'm in the process of starting a small L3+ and D3 farm, can I install awesome miner on a raspberry pi instead of a laptop and have access to it remotely over internet?
Awesome Miner must be running on a Windows computer - either on the same network as your miners or remote (at your home location) over a VPN connection. You use the Awesome Miner application to setup everything and then you also have the option to use the web interface if you want to access monitoring information and do basic operations from any laptop or smartphone.

I'm about to make a a purchase for 10+ miners but I just want to make sure I can get everything running smoothly.

I've been able to follow some guides throughout the thread so set up custom coins from whattomine API, specifying specific miners for algos/coins as well.

Is there any dedicated support chat or group that we can leverage if we do run into issues with achieving something with the program other than the thread?
Thanks for your interest in Awesome Miner. You can contact me by e-mail as well (info [at] awesomeminer.com).

Patrick hi, in online statistics there is a miningrigrentals.com  and how to add to AM to put up your power for sale at the this miningrigrentals.com
The MRR integration is not working as it should right now, as they recently changed their API and requires API keys. Also, Awesome Miner only tried to list the current profit from MRR, but it never had any feature to actually put your rigs on sale.

MRR has not been one of the most used features in Awesome Miner, that's why it has been given a little lower priority compared to some more urgent feature requests.

Hi! Is Linux miners support planned?
Hi. No plans right now, but maybe in the future. If you already have miners running on Linux, you can at least connect to and monitor them using the External Miner feature in Awesome Miner.

Is there an option to change profitability of coins / pools from "Current" to "Last 24h"?
That's unfortunately not possible. In which scenario is this needed? To get more stable profit values?

The "Current profitability" is sometimes changing too fast. AM is switching to a pool/coin and 2 minutes later the profitability is gone because the difficulty changed or something else.
