in my original config for claymore I have each miner name if I was to use custom file upload it would upload each miner in awesome miner with the same worker name I have set up in claymore right? How do I fix this
I think this is kinda one of the issues im running into also...because im really not wanting to use any of the built in miners
for example:
ccminerAlexis78- i currently use to mine Blake2s, Skein, and lbry algos on zpool mutli-algo setup
ccminerTanguy- i find has higher hashrates on decred, and groest1 algos on zpool mutli-algo setup
ccminerAlexis78blakecoin- is currently what i use for blakecoin algo on zpool mutli-algo setup
If i change the specified location of ccminer-sp to one of the 3, then im kinda stuck i have no ability that i can find to add the additional 2 others to mine those specific algo's
also quick question, is there a way to reduce intensity on some of the algo's i have to run different algo's on different intensities or they break my rig when they ramp up on difficulty
I think the first step is to use the Upload Software feature to make sure that all your remote computers have the 3 ccminer-versions you listed above.
You can at any time go to the Managed Miner properties and switch between the different softwares you uploaded. However, you probably want to change multiple settings at the same time. Software path, algorithm, pool and so on. In order to do this faster across a large number of miners, you can define a Managed Template:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/managedtemplate.aspxYou can probably define 3 templates to start with, one for each ccminer-version. Then you can use the Apply Template feature to apply these changes across many miners at the same time.
Each Managed Miner (and also each Managed Template) can have a unique set of command line parameters (Properties of Managed Miner/Template, then Command Line section on the left side). This allows you to control any parameter to the mining software, for example intensity. Another option is to define different Device Profiles with different intensity settings.
