Making back up in your important information is very important, make this as a hobbit because when ever you loss your source you still have the information needed, i suggest when you do back up, put in your disk top or laptop don't bring it anywhere just put it in your home if possible make another back up put it in your usb.

Good day, just want to share my experience,
I am using 2fa as my security in my emails and exchange accounts, so one day I nearly lost my phone and that phone holds majority of my pins, 2fa, etc. so I thought I lost all, luckily I found the phone. So now I'm thinking of buying an extra phone for backup. What else do you recommend for backup?

I think they provide you with back up keys which you can use to recover your accounts if you lost your phone any time. They will also give you temporary keys 12-15 which you can store electronically or write down. These keys will always work regardless of synchronisation to open up your account and will ask you to change or upgrade the device to continue using the service of 2fa. I think they have lot of safety measures given already and you should follow them so that you wont get into trouble like this anytime.

I'm postponing this job all the time, but it's really important. Tomorrow one day, if the phone is corrupted or not lost, there can be really many harmful positions. I have to neglect.

That's a lesson learned for you that don't just put everything on a single phone, recovery phrases, seeds, private keys and of the same must be backed up.

Having an extra phone is a good idea and you can leave the other one at your home while bringing the other one.

Writing up those important words on a piece of paper is an easy, simple and cheap way of backing up.
Yes its an easy thing but people do still failed up to do such basic thing. We do only realize things when we already experience the loss funds. Back up would always be important because unexpected things do really happen along the way. I had similar experience when almost losing out my phone where it do have the sim card where you can able to open accounts by SMS verification. When it comes to wallet even putting up on a paper or USB would already do.

I recommend you to write down all the private information of yours and put it in the safest place you think no one can find out. Don't just put all personal and private informations in 1 gadget only. Make sure your money is not in one place only. You should divide it and place in different wallet. And the last thing is make sure you protect it in all cost.

Agreed, I have an extra phone for gmail authenticator backup, also make sure to secure a pin code, you can use a paper or something and store in properly.

Back up is very advisable to save files in case of any emergency cases like you lost your phobe or someone stole it from you. You can have other phone or you can also save file to your laptop, hard drive or even flash drive. I personally  back up files on my flash drive with OTG so it easily back up my files on my phone.

You should be, note taking is great. Personally speaking, I usually forget things big or small, then I came to the point that I should not commint to this kind of system so I make a schedule, so I can keep myself on track and I make a list of the things I shouldn't forget like addresses, passwords and even wallets and it is a good back up ,if you come to the point that you lost your gadget.

No need to buy a new phone just save a 2FA code or keep the barcode when you create it in a safe place. If your mobile phone at any time lost you can use it again by entering the code or scan barcode that you save it.
Having a clean hard drive for back up and keeping it on a safe place is the best and that is correct that you should have 2fa in order to have another layer of security so you will not get in a high risk and you will not get a high chance of getting hacked with that 2fa. You can also have a strong layer of security if you will have a strong password which consists of letters, numbers and special characters.
That is better that you will have back up files , on your passwords and private keys and store them in a clean folder, that is to minimize the looses, of your private keys and you can recover it if you have back up and safety storage.

Yes, we really need to make frequent back ups of our passwords and other important things that needs to back up, not only in one device or place but maybe we need to make more back ups in other places to be more safe.
It's up to you what kind of back up you make, but everyone of us need a back up of our privite things or important files. Just like we do bitcoin and it is most important that we most secure the privite key and make a back up for it.

Wallet backup can be said to be the most important part of digital asset security!
Write important information on paper, do not back up on the computer, the computer is vulnerable to virus attacks!
Anti-virus software on your computer must be updated regularly!
Also back up your wallet to your family!

Now you realized that negligence will lead to disaster especially to our precious accounts. Even with back-up, if you are too complacent about you accounts the there would be the possibility that you will still loose it.

I also want to make many backups as much as possible. I want to put it on my phone, my laptop, or even right it down on piece of paper or notebook. I experienced one time where I almost lost my keys and codes in my laptop after it updated and got corrupted. Luckily I haven't reformatted it yet before remembering that I have no backups of my primary keys and address in my phone or even on paper. I'm just thankful that i still have the hard drive to backup some files. Now it's a lesson learned for me.

It is always a good idea to have supporting documents in case you are in trouble just like what you have said. In some sites they don't require too much verification and security so you could also say that you don't need to hassle more when it comes to saving important codes to your phone, but that doesn't mean you are no longer securing your accounts, but just be careful incase you lose your phone or other gadgets holding your important files.

You can back up your accounts by saving in your laptop, print them si you have hard copy and save on a usb so you have soft copy with it. Use excel or microsoft word to save your important documents. You need not buy another phone just save them and print them and keep them in a secure place thats what i did.

Not only that but also wallet backup too, because i also have the same experience when my pc crashed and must format it and i never had a backup of those wallet. I lose around 0.2 BTC because of it, and some altcoins too. Lesson learned though, backup your wallet before something bad happen.

Pretty big lose, 0.2 BTC just because of neglecting a common thing for wallet backup. I used to use SMS 2fa for blockchain wallet, but not anymore since I've moved to electrum, a better wallet with various advantages and features, just write down all the passphrase to a book and no need to worry if you lose the phone.
ever lost all my phone data once after accidentally reset through email, what makes me worry is google authenticator to access some exchanges accounts.
However, there is an option to reset 2Fa by click on "Lost Your Google Authenticator?" and manually submit Google's 16 digit-key, just follow all the instructions to regain access to your account, but maybe some sites such as binance1 require you to provide id, passport or driver's license and then take a selfie holding your identity card.
Many two-factor services will give you a set of codes that can only be used to access your account once. After each code is used, it's gone. Most of the time you can access these in the same place where you change your two-factor authentication settings to begin with.
You should definitely print them or or write them down and keep them in a place where you can find them. Ideally, they would be separate from your phone, perhaps in a fireproof box or safe with other important paper documents.
