People tend to believe what's presented unto them that's why, fake news spread fast cause most of them who shares it in many different platforms are to lazy to do a fact check. That might also affect the market indirectly cause some readers are investors who acts if they seen or read someting like "bitcoin might go up any miniute" then they buy a lot, then the price slightly goes up and are taken advantage by expert traders to sell and a dump will follow.
I will look for references in the form of similar news from the official online site, then compare the contents, whether it is the same or different. so at least you as a reader can reach a more balanced conclusion.

Friends, the news background on the crypto market has been very active lately, and in a rather positive way, but not every good news is true. How does this affect your investments and strategy on the market? How to protect against fakes?
before i invest i already made a research about the project where i want to invest my money. Even i see fake news about the projects where i invested i still believe on them, cause i wont chose them if they are not good. The main strategy I do is investing in the long term in the form of BTC and ETH, every news that appears will occur a question mark on every investor both large and small because not all the news that is spread will become a reality, from every emerging I will learn and follow as a way of trading and not entirely I believe in crypto news that is either on social media or blogs because it is not accurate without us investigating from telgram and twitter in question
I see the benefits for the long term are slightly reduced compared to short term investments. If you may know for how long have you invested? Looking at the market now it seems better to invest in the short term. Good and bad news comes like the sun and moon all this time. So for the short term we can get more profit than in the long run.

Even if you make a long-term investment it does not guarantee it will produce good profits even though you also have chosen the top coins, because for investors who do not have good knowledge and confidence then when there is a lot of FUD or negative news circulating at least it will make them panic. So in this case there are several factors that every investor must have at least so that it is not too excessive to act on news that is related to the investment itself. 
If I always monitor the official crypto websites, and I see information on social media from any crypto CEO on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and medium. And also follow the Crypto Telegram channel to get accurate information

Let's not all forget who the enemy is.
Facebook, Bakkt, the SEC, IMF, John McAfee... whoever it is you've been led to believe is going to be important in boosting Bitcoin adoption, is not. So the next time you read or are told that so-and-so guy or entity is adopting Bitcoin and it's good news? Don't believe it.
You and me. Using Bitcoin daily. And others too. That's the only good news that's good.
using bitcoin every day is the best news of the best yes agree your words adoption is good news and bad news is actually not there ,only news from the dark side that damnification because don't use bitcoinLet's not all forget who the enemy is.

I always check the truth of the news about crypto that I read and get. The problem is very dangerous
