BWF World Championships 2022

BWF World Championships 2022 event in Tokyo, Japan has almost entered round 16 (third round), The man Favorite players like Victor Axelsen, Ginting, Thammasin and others is going to the next rounds. We also surprised a player who filled the top 3 ranks got lost in the first round (Anders Antonsen) and for sure this is an interesting match because many surprised as we can see next until 28th August

This is the first time India got the Thomas Cup title and become a proud achievement since the country begin to rise and focus on badminton sport. The Achievement is the same as other countries did, including Japan (2014) And Denmark (2016), and deciding the dominant country such as Indonesia, China, and Malaysia to focus again that there is another country stronger between them.

We also have a surprise in Uber Cup 2022, South Korea is competent to beat China 3-2 and received achievement as 2nd-time Uber Cup after 2010.

It was a huge surprise to see Indian beat Indonesian easily in the final 3-0. Antony Ginting started the first game really well in the 1st set but 2nd and 3rd changed significantly, Ginting seems to be underestimating his opponent after winning the 1st set so he loss focus in the 2nd and 3rd set. The same thing happened for the 2nd game between the Men double, most Indonesian supporters including me believed that it would be an easy game for Indonesia but in fact we were wrong. By the way, congratulations for India to get their 1st title, they deserve it as they played all out since the group stage.

Team India have created history winning Thomas Cup beating 14-time champions Indonesia. Kidambi Srikanth defeated Indonesian player 21-15, 23-21 to register a historic win for India in the Thomas cup 2022. Earlier Lakshya Sen, doubles players Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy notched up to win the prestigious team championship for India. Thomas Cup is considered as the World Cup for Shuttle Badminton.

A big surprise and a sad result for the Indonesian team, did not won championship title.

I watched the men's singles final, an interesting match because almost all points had to be won with a lot of strokes first, and this is what made the Chinese Taipei player run out of energy in the third set.
