Please respect their hard work. It is not easy to make the ASIC devices.

And keep them monopolized in China? Screw their hard work, I hope they fail.

First of all it's not a pre-order they will ship in 1 week.
Secondly, it will be 20 GHz for 10 Of these.
I am not buying at this price for sure. My mantra is wait and see.

Then that means they are currently mining on them right now for sure if they can deliver in a week after payment.

Wonder why they just don't announce it officially since they are willing to sell and deliver in a week already to people.

On a side note:

Too bad it couldn't be at the same hash per dollar at least.

The quad cube was $2.66 per 1MH/s at 1200 MH/s = $3192

The new giant: $2.66 per 1MH/s at 2000MH/s = $5320

Now that would sound more reasonable, or even just $6000. But at $7000, makes me want to wait for an official Ibelink update since it's just around the corner supposedly (Original group buy said "shipping before 31st July".)

I am with you in this waiting game.

DURING MY SKYPE CONVERSATION THEY DID MENTION THE FOLLOWING

don't tell other about this machine before we release it

Lol, so would that mean your order is only a pre-order?

And for a purchase of 10, they didn't cut you any slack at all, you got charged full price, lol.
Yup they they have a complete faith on their product that it will sold out like a hot cake. LOL

The price is nuts. If ya'll willing to pay $70000 for 10gh/s i can sell you one of my ibelink pre orders instead at double what i paid and you'll at least have a realistic ROI in 2-3 months time while being 1/3rd the cost of these baikals.

We will see your ibelink when it will be out in the day light and it's ROI.

Not yet, check their web site, nothing in stock yet.  At 7k I have a hard time believing people are going to be snatching these up unless we have a lot more people here that don't know how to run a calculator than I assume... The price is not realistic... Anyone buying is going to get killed when the iBelink starts shipping.  I can't even imagine what that ROI calculation would look like when the iBelink miners hit the network for anyone holding the bag for a 7k Baikal at 2gh... It would be BRUTAL.

7000 USD is expensive. But the catch is they are delivering it within a week and with ibelink it's still 3 weeks plus who knows.
Either way I am passing this batch.
Thank BAIKAL but no thanks. We should wait for at least a month.

Hi, for my opinion,  $7000 is a nonsense price. Remember that they sold mini at $300 (Mini: 2.0$/1Mh/0.25w) they have increased the price of 30% with the cube (Giant/Cube: 2.6$/1Mh/0.25w) and now they increased again of 30% (New miner: 3.4$/1Mh/0.20w).
I love baikal product, but at this price ROI will be absolutly very or too long.

If this is true then Baikal not only just priced themselves out of the market, but they also did not respond to the 11g iBelink that is reported to be far more efficient than the Baikal.  This is very disappointing news.

Now is the time to wait and see what happens with the iBelink.  Who knows what kind of crazy price we will see from them.  They should be providing more details shortly about the 11g.

woooov if it is true, it s a big playing on X11 DASH algo

Dont think about the price. You can check the GPU prices. The GPUs priceses is getting higher values day by day.
If the baikal team comes with new products, they have to set a reasonable price for them. Dont jurge them. I will buy a couple of the new miners even if the prices is higher than 7000 USD. Because I know their miner is the best ones on all ASIC miners and GPUs.

Go Go Go Baikal Team !!!!!  Cheesy

Not AMD or Nvidia set high prices for their gpus, not asus, msi, etc. Reseller set prices for gpus. Baikal is manufacturer, and if they set higher prices for same chips its not the good move

Also we khow that old baikal A900 and cubes have hardware errors if chip temperature jump over 60° degrees, there we can see 67° and 71° so you cant say that they are stable like cubes and old giant on 40°

For 7000$ you can(or could) buy Ibelink 10.8Gh
So where is Baikal's advantage if for same price you have 5 times less profitability?(ok, i know that baikals are more reliable, and have lower power consumption, but it not worth it if you can make 5x more money at the same time)

Just having a conversation with Baikalminers over skype.
I can confirm the following.

Appearance is like Giant A900
hashrate: 2000Mh/s
power consumption: 430W
Price 7000usd

So it is essentially 7 CUBEs in one device.

CUBE = 300 Mh/s with 40-80W for 1000 USD at release.

If this is true I am not very impressed...

Cube was 800$ at release

Even less impressed then  Cheesy

What doesn't make sense is comparing these two:

New Giant
2000Mh/s
430W??? But for which algo?
Price: 7000usd

or

(2) Quad-CUBES
2400Mh/s combined hashrate
440W combined for Qubit or worst case 600W combined for x11
Price: 6392usd combined

Seems like progress is going backwards, because you are paying for more for less hashrate with the new device to maybe save 200watts of power if that 430w is for x11???

So we have:
800$ for cube which is 300Mh and 75w (x11)
2400$ for giant A900 which is 900Mh and 217w (x11)
7000$ for new miner which is 2050Mh and 430w (we assume it x11)

Cube: 2.6$/1Mh/0.25w
GiantA900: 2.6$/1Mh/0.24w
New miner: 3.4$/1Mh/0.20w

We pay 0.8$ for 0.04w economy
It about 2 years(if you pay 0.1$ for electricity)

So it seems no progress in Hashrate and big progress in Baikal's greed
