Think about it. If a piece of hardware makes $500/day WHY THE F@# would they send it to someone else to mine with it? They will build it and mine with it themselves using presale funds and ship it to the buyer when the difficulty goes up so much that it becomes a breakeven point. That's the rule with ALL ASIC miners. This has been the same for years from butterfly labs to USB BTC miners back in 2013. Occasionally they ship a few early to Youtubers (like VOSKCOIN who will make a video about anything if you pay him enough) to get attention and presales going faster than ever. If you recall VOSK got his Siacoin miner earlier than everyone else, on the first day it made $500 (just like it did for the manufacturer) and within a few days it dropped to $40/day and thats when BITMAIN shipped them all out.
