no, it will never happen there are still many people who really trust banks as a safe place compared to cryptocurrencies.
I am sure that the bank will never be defeated by the cryptocurrency.

bank rightnow really have power to "take down" bitcoin itself , its just depend on the people what they are really choose between bank or cryptocurrency

I think for people who don't know about bitcoin, they will prefer to use the banks. But for people who know bitcoin, they will prefer bitcoin although they still use the banks. But I don't think that the banks against the crypto because I am sure that they still learning how the process of blockchain can give an easy way to them. And if someday they believe in bitcoin too, I am sure that they will be integrated with the blockchain and when it's happening, the adoption in the banks will running well.

I think Crypto won't reach the bank. banks will remain the main in the country as a storage of the country's currency. whereas crypto has a global exchange rate and is decentralized, I think it will also be the same in its current position until the future.

I think it is still as hard as a rock to get banks out of the equation. If you would be looking at the ICOses you will see that even cryptocurrency had for itself a version of cryptocurrency bank. I would not be in doubt if banks will probably incorporate the blockchain to keep everything in touch with what is new. It's business and business works in that manner. They would often go where the wind is or where the trend is leading.

The bankers are worried that the rate at which crypto market is growing will have a serious impact on their operation and many  banks have banned their customers from purchasing cryptocurrency with their credit cards. cryptocurrencies are rapidly growing and using of blockchain many banks Now are investing in cryptocurrencies.

Bank functions can almost be said to be replaced by cryptocurrency transactions. but I believe that the bank will continue to operate even though the crypto has replaced fiat. because the function of the bank is very central as public and state finances manage. banks will continue to operate even though the currency has been transformed into digital. there are times when we need third parties who can be trusted to serve financial services not always person to person transaction.
Crypt maybe faster but people trust banks more than crypto.
Banks are operating and they are a business of trust, no matter how advance the decentralized is, we can never get the people who already trust the system. Most of the crypto enthusiast are the young ones, the old ones does not want complicated things like crypto, so we will loss.

We need bank to work with crypto or vise versa, we don't need to battle and replace them.
At any point it won't get replaced as well. Bitcoin is all about the technology backed solution for fastest transaction access around the globe without any kind of restrictions. With bank we've got limits on transaction beyond which lots of paper works need to be done. Banks are the much trusted due to its physical presence and people are much used to it. To experience such scenario with bitcoin we need more and more years. Probably both gets integrated at some point for usage and not in value.

Banks do require a lot more stuff than bitcoin transactions when you send or receive money so you are basically putting banks livelihood in danger when you do something like this. Bitcoin is out there making a global payment system all by itself just by existing and banks are afraid the fact that they can't charge 3% or whatever they are charging today for global money sending, you think it actually costs them that much? Heck no, but they can do that.

You keep your money in your bank account and in many countries bank charge you for just HAVING money on your bank account, that is why they are so much afraid of bitcoin, it allows you to be your own bank. The only difference and why banks are not completely done yet is the fact that you do not go around and live only on bitcoin yet, you still need fiat to live and pay for many things, as soon as you can pay everything with bitcoin it will be a hard time for all banks.

Decentralization. Everyone is talking about it. Can cryptocurrency lead to the disappearance of banks. Or will banks be able to adjust and remain in power?

I am certain banks will have to adopt to the current crypto sentiment. That is the only way for them to be able to remain relevant in the coming years.

Banks wont become irelevant in the future just because of the domination of cryptocurrencies  . still there people who will continue to use banks because they cant possibly keep up with the latest trend  . though i also believe that other banks will teamed up with crypto because they are also aware that people are demanding for it  .

@Theentre no bro , banks wont disapear because of cryptos . do you think crypto will live without banks ?  How can we then withdrew a cash/money ?  crypto will be totally useless  imo

I think they will soon disappear and cooperate with blockchain companies. Banks are under so much pressure from inflation and crypto can solve that difficult problem.
I think that banking businesses will gradually transform into a place to store electronic money and blockchain technology will be the main tool in money transfer.

That cooperation will be interesting. I think they will need to create a different approach, like JP Morgan that announced creating of stable coin. They will be interesting to follow and probably many big banks will follow their example, learn from their mistakes. What will they do is their thing, but never forget that we have a voice now, we can choose to use their stable coins or to believe in bitcoin or some other coin. Economy is in transition and transitions are hard for some people, many fail and many break trough. It`s interesting to live in this times and witness all that, some of us actively participate.

I am certain banks will have to adopt to the current crypto sentiment. That is the only way for them to be able to remain relevant in the coming years. They have waged battles against crypto and are still on it until today but we can easily notice how they are also adapting at the same time. That is their safest option as they are well aware of how widely accepted crypto has grown. It is now common to read in the news how banks are already accepting cryptocurrencies, established partnership with crypto companies, even installing crypto ATMs, and so on. This is definitely a winning factor for crypto.

therefore in a long time the bank will definitely continue to ban crypto in countries because the bank is definitely a year if the paper currency will not be used again in the presence of an easy digital currency to use transactions
Such things would never happen. Bitcoin was created to serve the similar purpose. There are banks that look down upon it but also want to join the fray. Dont think that people call something bad just because they want to save your from its wrath. They also know the potential in bitcoin and they want you to sell so they can grab it at a lower price while you sold at below buying price at a loss. Thats called manipulation and its rampant in every speculative market where people dont have basic understanding of they assets they hold or any fundamental analysis at hand.

This can only be prevented if you remain neutral in your mindset and not think about what others are saying but stock up at low prices and sell at high prices. Rinse and repeat. Grin

Well, I see no reason why banks would remain except for nationalistic reasons or assisted by government with financial aid.

However, they could transform from holding fiat currencies for customers to holding cryptocurrency currencies.

I also believe a strong competition from cryptocurrency could see governments going  defensive or adopting protectionism.
Banks will not disappear anywhere and will continue to exist in the future. Cryptocurrency is not yet a significant competition for banks and is unlikely to represent it. Banks perform many other useful functions, including fully servicing the financing and lending to the state economy. Therefore, any state will protect the interests of state banks. Banks and cryptocurrency should continue to coexist and complement each other.
