It is dirt cheap right now, not worth dumping.

Time even to start thinking about buying back everything you dumped way cheaper than you dumped it so you can dump it all over again when it goes back up, maybe?

Yep, I'm not selling any right now.  Way too cheap.  Worked too hard to get as many as I have to just give them away.  Too many people still view it as a joke.  I've seen numerous people in the trollbox on btc-e even comment that the coin was just created last week.  They have no clue about the history of this coin.

Volume has been really low on bter as well, so most people that have them probably feel the same way, and don't want to trade right now.

Undervalued by what standard? By who? Can you give me a reason I should mine/buy BQC other than hopes of a pump/dump?

The coin is doing alright. It's stable now. It is also vastly underpriced. When it will, or if it will, increase in value is yet to be seen.

BQC has a good community behind it though and is an old coin

Its definitely not under priced, current mining difficulty is very low (4)  and has been low for like... forever.  They are easy to get.
You state it's not under-priced yet you give the difficulty as your proof.  Difficulty is not price.  The price is .00026 BTC which is very undervalued.

I am waiting for Scrypt FPGs, as my 5870s only do 255 KHash for scrypt, yet they do 405 MHash for SHA256.

I think the profitaiblity comparion sites assume you'll get the same KHash for scrypt that you get MHash for SHA, so basically my GPUs are better off sticking with SHA even when those sites claim scrypt looks better to them.

I read recently that maybe Windows is better at getting decent scrypt rate out of GPUs than Linux is. BUt I don't do WIndows do not want to do Windows so would rather do FPGA.

Got a message back from an exchange that they will start trading BBQCoins in 72 hours  Smiley They are testing and setting up, no exact ETA but said "within 72 hours".

Last time I got such a message was:

Just got it confirmed by e-mail:

CNC is coming to a second "major" exchange soon (<48 hours, they are setting up and testing)

Didn't get a confirmation, nor a denial, from another one I mailed.

That's great news Smiley
First FTC shortly after I mailed, now CNC Smiley

Screenshot?

You'll just have to trust me again Smiley I was spot on with the CNC message.
It took me time to build up my reputation on this bb, not going to ruin it by falsifying "breaking news".
I have my sources, my sources trust me, I won't let them down, just spreading the word.
Why? The exchange needs a high hashrate / difficulty before they implement a coin without fear of DS attacks.

And also Virexa exchange should be coming up soon with BBQ, but I won't hold my breath...

BTW, how valid would a screenshot be? I could Photoshop Bill Gates mailing "I buy all the BBQCoins on the market" within 5 minutes.

Any news? Smiley

Why did BTC-E add ChinaCoin which is new, instead of BQC which is more than 1 year old?
probably because they mined alot of CNC.
BTC-E always adds coins fast if they have some of them to dump later. i dont get why ppl still trust btc-e since its a proven scam...

Re Devtome article:

Also, I had a git clone of the original github repo, which I put back up on github a while back so the guy who originally ordered the coin from Greedi could clone it back to where he had previously deleted it from on github. He gave me push ability to his thusly-restored repo too though I have not used that access. Not sure if I have even made any pushes to my own github repo of it either.

(According to Greedi, it was Greedi who made BBQcoin, under an agreement the guy was only going to use it privately for fun/game among him and a few friends. Being scammed about that was Greedi's motivation for his attack.)
