All the people on this page that have said that the website does not look good or have put +1, I expect screen shots of mock-ups for what you would like the site to look like, as just saying it does not look good, that is never going to give me any constructive advice.

I am looking forward to seeing them.

It great when a community comes together to help out a Dev team.

Why all the hate for the website? I made it simple for new users to find the download client. I want it to look nothing like TRC corporate site and have a more home made feel.

Anyway the website cannot be that bad as the big news for today is that I got a reply from Vircurex and they have agreed to add BBQcoin to their exchange.

A timescale is going to be worked out and I will post that next update on here but without a doubt it is happening.

So what would make the website look better then? What changes could be made? I do listen to the BQC community when I am not neck deep in projects.

Aww yeahhhhhhhh, Vircurex on the way. Volume on the way. High price on the way

BQC is being exchanged on BTER, none of the other dime a dozen coins popping up and dying within 5 minutes are ending up on exchanges.

This coin is very undervalued atm and the diff is still low so it is worth jumping on board.

No one will take this coin seriously with the current website. It looks horrible.

+1 the website looks terrible.

I have to also agree with this. Has the new logo not yet been adopted?

its your fault if ur hashrate is so low that you have to wait 24h to get a share, BQC p2pool is solving alot of blocks per day so it dosnt take long.
also please edit your post if you messed up the quote.

The default chain, is quicker, but the payout is slower...
anyways, you try to create a new standard which ultimately will fail. why do i even bother? u clearly didnt understand p2pool and its sharechain. ignore and problem solved... i bet hes a winblows user Tongue

I offer a second choice with a quicker PPLNS windows, no connected to the main one for the same reason.

I've added a new p2pool.

Here are the parameters:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8114 -u yourBBQaddress -p .

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8114

2% fee.

----
This one is up, and fully reliable. And you will have your mined coins quite quickly...

this is not the correct p2pool chain, its a other/forked chain. therefore you shouldnt use it.

I've tested the default chain myself, and found that waiting 24h to get a payment converging with what I expect, is unbearable...

I hope it will be better like this. And, with a little MH/s value, this p2pool has already found more blocks that we can expect. It may be a luckier pool, or better configured... We will see.

Yes, you're right, but it is more efficient like this. The default PPLNS configuration takes more than ten of hours to get a proper payment. This one is quicker.

I hope it will be easier, and more efficient to use for everyone.

Your pool doesn't appear to be connected to any peers.
So it's essentially solo mining.

While I'm here, shameless plug for http://bbq.caish5.com
