Nearly exactly two years ago, during the period from May to June of 2017, Bytecoin was traded from 1 satoshi to 2 satoshis. Then, due to unknown reasonable things, Bytecoin rocketed to above 270 satoshis, then it bumped and dumped several significant rounds. Now, Bytecoin has nearly fallen back to where it went up, 10 satoshis is a cheap price, but I even expect that Bytecoin might decrease more deeply to the range from 2 satoshis to 4 satoshis, at which I might start to think of reinvest in Bytecoin. One of the most important thing to attract investors is how the Bytecoin team can avoid network issues as well as issues with exchanges. In history of Bytecoin, there were some period in which exchanges disabled withdrawals and deposits of Bytecoin.

I had a very large amount of this coin on HitBtc - The day it hit Binance they (ByteCoin) stopped all movent of the coin and dumped everything they had , made millions and now just throw a days work in a month the keep it looking like they are doing shit !

Total scammers... just stay away from it.

Hello! We are really sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we are unable to control the demand of Bytecoin but we always try to do our best to inform our users and help them with our support team.
A scam is when someone puts something on the market, makes money from it and then disappears with the project without a trace. Am I right?
If we are speaking about our project, we have been on the market around 7 years, and Bytecoin is one of the oldest projects in the cryptocurrency world. The devs are passionate about it and trying to make the technology behind it unique and useful. In the past couple of years, we have had 31 software releases with many innovative features. This doesn't sound like the lifecycle of a ponzi scheme, does it?
Bytecoin’s development and codebase are transparent and can be viewed online. We are always in touch with our community and we are intent on doing our part to make crypto a fixture of modern life.

Everything is perfect, but why BCN don't grow at all? Is the cheapest listed currency! Huh
Will it ever grow or will it stay like this forever?  We must know, (the investors) what we have to do....

Make Way for Gateway: Bytecoin Blockchain Bridge Goes Live
https://bitcoingarden.org/make-way-for-gateway-bytecoin-blockchain-bridge-goes-live/

Bytecoin has officially launched the Bytecoin Gateway Project, creating a bridge between the Bytecoin blockchain and that of Ethereum with a corresponding BCN20 currency to go with it.

The Bytecoin Gateway Project first emerged as a possibility back at the start of this year when the Bytecoin team announced that it was looking into blockchain bridging as a means of expanding their platform.

Blockchain bridging is a method of linking two separate blockchains by introducing a currency that corresponds to one blockchain onto the other. In Bytecoin’s case, the possibility of doing this came about via the changes that were made to the system when the newest version of their Amethyst software was released.

As part of Amethyst, Bytecoin released Auditable Wallets, a feature that allows users to provide outside parties with view-only access to their assets without compromising their anonymity. To build the Bytecoin Gateway, an auditable wallet will be used to store and keep track of the base funds which will anchor the corresponding currency on the bridged blockchain....

When will the new listings be? Huh   New exchanges. The currency exchange rate does not rise by itself.

Hi! Our team is working on new partnerships and making Bytecoin available on crypto exchanges. We have a lot of plans we are working on currently and quality is a top priority for us.

Bitcoin Garden | Seven Years of Security: Bytecoin Marks Anniversary with New Releases
https://bitcoingarden.org/seven-years-of-security-bytecoin-marks-anniversary-with-new-releases/

On July 4, Bytecoin celebrated its seventh anniversary with the unveiling of Beryl, a redesigned version of the Bytecoin desktop app, and an updated version of the Bytecoin Developer Portal.

The first Bytecoin block was submitted to the blockchain on July 4, 2012. Since then Bytecoin has changed significantly, adding new pieces where needed, changing out the old for the new, constantly adapting and experimenting in a fast-paced industry — but the overarching purpose behind the platform has remained steadfast.

Bytecoin was launched all those years ago as a means of enhancing the privacy protections available in the crypto space. In the intervening years, Bytecoin has outgrown the limitations of being a mere digital currency and has reconstructed itself as something bigger, namely a hotbed of cryptographic technology development.

This past year alone has seen a number of new features added to the ranks at Bytecoin, compounded by the release of its new Amethyst v3.4.2 software and recent hardfork. With the hardfork, Bytecoin was able to set the table for the future progression laid out for the platform in their roadmap....

How do I incorporate my wallet.keys file from 2014 into the current wallet? It just says unrecognised wallet type or something like that. Help!
OK, after A LOT of faffing around trying different things, I finally managed to find an old version of the bytecoin wallet, import my .keys file then export a .wallet file which the newest wallet finds to be compatible.
Hate it when devs do this. I don't want to spend hours fixing things just because I left the scene for a while. Why was my old file totally incompatible? It shouldn't have been.
Anyway, seems to be fixed now.
