Poloniex still has wallet functions disabled, guess they're not yet onto this update. Untill then we cannot expect any magic leap forward. 90% of volume with newly created blocks could take weeks from now.

Price is showing good sign it seems there is good activity behind the scene and some people trying to push this to more high. I think it will be good recovery for this coin and we see more investment will come to this.

All the coins in the market are connected to each other. All coins fall because the market falls. it is the coins that will enter the market which will put an end to this. If the new comer has a strong support and a good staff, he gets out of the falling market and climbs up.

Can anyone explain upcoming hardfork for bcn ? why there is a hardfork ? bcn will stay bcn or there will be a new coin ? are exchanges support that hardfork or should we remove our bcn ? any quick brief ?

We will release a blog post shortly to describe everything that users will need to know but to put it simply:

1. The hardfork is there to update the API and provide a feature called dynamic fees (you can read more about it here: https://bytecoin.org/blog/the-updated-bytecoin-development-roadmap).

2. BCN will remain and there will not be a new coin (or any new coins created)

3. All of the exchanges that already support Bytecoin are in the process of updating their software to support the hardfork. Your BCN will be safe there, in the web/mobile wallet, and the desktop wallet (provided you backup your .wallet file in advance).

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
I have read all the articles about Hard fork . Article has mentioned that after 31st August HardFork  will continue several weeks so may I consider it will run till whole September or I missed to understand something. Smiley

Basically the faster everybody updates to the newest wallet version the faster the hardfork will come into affect. It could take as little as a few days if everybody that uses the Bytecoin Desktop Wallet upgrades in a timely fashion. We are anticipating it to take a couple weeks though because not all of the users update to the newest version as soon as it is made available.
Very good . I will make one more Vedio to About Bytecoin hardfork to  make aware people to start  using desktop wallet immediately . so it will help to finish this hardfork easily and quickly  Smiley

Nice to see this activity. Marketing is going to be really good. Bytecoin can be bigger and stronger with community, developers and upgrades.

May 17, 2017 Monero developers discovered and eliminated a critical error that affected all crypto currency based on the CryptoNote protocol and allowed to create an unlimited number of coins in the system and generate double expenses. Monero developers notified the team of the remaining vulnerability of the other crypto currency and Aeon, Boolberry and Forknote crypto currency released a patch, but the Bytecoin, DashCoin, DigitalNote commands ignored the warning and judging by all these crypto currencies are still subject to a bug of endless inflation.

A source: https://getmonero.org/2017/05/17/disclosure-of-a-major-bug-in-cryptonote-based-currencies.html

Tell me please, is Bytecoin developers corrected this error of endless emission (inflation) or not? Huh

Hello! This bug was fixed as soon as we learned about it, more than a year ago, so no it is not an issue for Bytecoin.

If bitcoin will update its price up and then all altcoins will be sold and bought much more expensive! I think that Bytecoin will rise in price much .. since this coin has been on the market for a long time and many people know about it ! You just need to the entire market perked up and came and bearish phases...
The bitcoin price going up  $7000 and i think btc can hit $10000 end  this year , bytecoin will follow the monero ,bytecoin will going up ,too.

The private of bytecoin is best that any altcoins want it .

In Next 2 Months BTC will Reach 10k $ .

BCN Would Be 65+ SAT .  Wink

I would like Bytecoin to become the next big crypto currency, for this it is necessary to maintain it continuously.

Anonymous coin will fall under big complication when this ecosystem will move to regulation. Big question on the future of all privacy coins how they will survive as big companies don't like this feature.

Bytecoin Hardfork (2018-08-31)

The main feature of this hardfork is ability to set dynamic transaction fees. The idea of dynamic fees is to increase a miner’s rewards and prioritizing one transaction over another.

No, there will not be a new coin. BCN remains BCN. Nothing goes away. Blockchain will not be broken into two parts. Everything remains as it has been. Here are the changes only in order to improve.

Do not worry. Your Bytecoins are safe as before (online exchange /web wallet /desktop wallet). You do not have to do anything.

If you use desktop wallet: (1.) make sure you make a copy of .wallet files, (2.) install new version (v3.2.5 coming soon), (3.) restore copy of .wallet file. And that's it.

Bitcoin now goes up to $8,566.40. We can only speculate with what success Bytecoin will jump for at that time. In addition, the fall in value is accompanied by a stronger jump. So it is desirable and that is good. After the rain comes always sun, after night comes the day. It has always been and will be. This is in the crypto sphere a quite normal thing.

I can not believe someone buys 1-10,000 Bytecoin and then expects wealth overnight. That's not how it goes. And it's a waste of time. But, newcomers do not want to learn from others. You have no chance if you do not use it. But well, let everyone do what he thinks is best for him.

One more thing. This is a forum, not a chat. If you have something to say, let it be so that it adds value. Do not write nonsense just to highlight your signature. It does not interest anyone. I will not point my finger, but everyone knows who it is. Do not do it. Thank you.

Now is the perfect time to buy one million bytecoins. Or more (remember, tomorrow will be too late). Keep in the long run and watch what's going on. Welcome to the Bytecoin Millionaire Club. If you do not have patience, cryptos are not for you.

It is time to buy more after showing good recovery it has good chance there. I think no need to get panic even if price decline this is good opportunity.
I think just in a falling market of course you need to buy a BCN coin, but you need to do it with great care.
