IEO's are not much worse than ICO's. Actually, I think they are far better.
At least the exchange's reputation is on the line with the IEO's. When an ICO goes scam however, Vitalik gives no shit because it is all decentralized and he never told you to buy.
As long as you join the big exchanges' ICO, like binance, i don't think you can lose much. It is still not %100 risk free but I can say the risk is a lot less than doing your own research and picking an ICO to invest.

We should do everything possible to checkmate upcoming exchanges that might be planning on starting up IEO because this is the only way they can actually carry out their scam activities, this companies can come up with things that might convince one to invest with them, but I think we should be very careful and also enlighten newbies about the likely ways IEO company might try to scam people in the crypto space. 
Actually i'm participating some bounties of IEO project but the process of distribution was going to long.

I also think that it is very dangerous to invest in an IEO on little-known exchanges. It is very risky and you can lose some of your money. I generally miss investing in an IEO, because there is no way to buy tokens on Binans or Huobi.
But it is better to wait for your chance to get into the number of investors on a large exchange, than to invest in some kind of shit and lose your money.

The idea of adopting IEO over a failed ICO may not necessarily be a scam because requifed funds limit has not been reached. I am more concerned on why Latoken seems to be among the first initiators of this IEO phenomenon but despite that, their tokens don't do x3 or x4 like other exchanges. Could it be as a result of poor exchange management principles

It all depends on the level of the exchange. If the exchange is in the top 20 of the list of exchanges, then I consider it possible to enter the first IEO without fear, the exchange will try to pump the price of new tokens to attract investors to their next IEO. After all, if there is a price drop, then no one will go to the following projects on this exchange.
İ have enough experience regarding the token sales but new kind of ICOs make me think twice before proceeding the balance. Binance failed to launch it properly in my opinion, other exchanges will not be able to handle it properly.
Agree with OP. I have experience about Binance Launchpad, to be honest they had not distribute token to general users. Token hold by exchange or whales. They sold after pump. If users couldn't buy then what is the meaning of IEO? Is it not indirect scam? I am wondering to participate on Bittrex IEO then I could share my experience. But we should more careful about current IEO trend.

Yeah for succesful ieos we should stick with high volume top exchanges only like binance, houbi and may be kucoin but from my observation this ieo thing was launched first by cobinhood but as this ieo by cobin exchange was launched just around the start of bear trend it was not able to raise the required funds also the major mistake that cobinhood made was that they launched ieo without first doing marketing, growing their user and trader base and the liquidity, now its more than a year and half since cobinhood exchange is operational i am sure they can do better in this field and hopefully they will grow nicely in one more year.

This IEO all looks like first come first served, pump and dump. There is huge hype going on around them and I have heard whoever invested in IEO made profit but it doesn't mean projects will accomplish their goals and late investors will make profit too.

You are right, even I am aware of the big exchanges too! Because if you look carefully, Binance IEOs was sold out within a few minutes and only a very few people could able to buy tokens! Who were they? A very few random people could able to buy, otherwise, all tokens were sold to the whales, people are saying about Binance own team! So, IEO is not for everyone, we should just forget about all unknowns, low exchange IEO, I even stop following the Binance launchpad too! 
Let's say one of the exchanges will recommend itself well in IEO. What about the fact that it will be very difficult to take part in these events?

Just the process of making more money,when people can understand the intention of those new projects then they will not invest on it,even IEO from binance have no assurance that it will going to be a big crypto in future. Jump to:
