Depends on the exchange actually. I know IEO is a big deal now. and every exchange are launching their own. My question is what if ethereum launch their own IEO through dex? and subscribing by the current eth holding? Do you think ETH can regain their shape out on the market? During ICOs time, eth is one of the best platform since most ICOs are accepting eth as payment. Today only exchange coins benefited from this IEO, why? They using their coin as a stake for those participation, meaning the demand will increase before the launch right?
After the profits have been claimed during trading they will go back to eth and btc. See always those two have been the end of every investors.

Most of these exchanges still uses ethereum smart contract to develop their project unlike Binance that has its own chain, so I don’t see any of these exchanges IEO being a threat to the growth of ETH other than Binance because of their recently launched, Binance chain. Which many people even predicts that ethereum base token might gradually start migrating to Binance.
The exchanges are very profitable IEO, they it attracts new investors and the pursuit of the number of customers leads to a loss of quality (security).

Yep. I also appreciate your thoughts. At this moment ieos are the most popular and hyped thing in the market. Almost all investors wants to invest in IEOs. And it's hard for all of them to participate in a ieo which is lead by a big exchange. So scammers those who scammed people in ico they are on the field and they are partnering with very small and medium exchange. So never support or invest in this kind of project.
That would against the statement that said IEO is safer than ICO because there will be less scam project. Well, that's right if the exchange is Binance, cause project's team will need to pass several requirements to be able to conduct a tokensale on Binance. Unfortunately, the proccess will be different if the exchange is not very popular. A small exchange need a volume, therefore they will be very welcome to a new project to coduct a tokensale and don't really care about the project's credibillity.

Exactly, fake volume, and young exchanges, we should stay away from them. Even without IEOs, customers have risks to lose their money on those young exchange, when they do something shady, such as sudden scam exits and if such cases occur, customers won't have opportunitites to open support tickets, and get their money back. Because they make scam exits, no chance to see them (scammers) to come back with their exchanges, and supports for customers.

Most IEOs complete their tokens sale in few seconds which means that only few persons would be able to buy. The tokens gets listed on an exchange at a fixed rate which is later dumped massively by the whales leaving the price worthless.
They are lazy and greedy investors, or more exactly I think we should call them as lazy and greedy gamblers. They simply spend money into IEOs (especially IEOs of small exchanges because they think they can get higher profits from small exchanges' IEOs, rather than fom big exchanges), and wait for luckiness come to them and those exchanges. Rather than gamble like this, I think they should buy and hold good altcoins, or even buy and hold bitcoin. The risks of losses will be lower than invest into IEOs.
I think there's nothing to be worried about just like in the ico time you only invested in your choice of project and not all ico of see, same applies to the new introduced ieo. The exchange hosting it is not a problem as far as binance did it and it works they can also do the same yours is to select your choice of projects.

So, IEO is the recent trending topic in the crypto industry! People are very excited about IEOs, because, after a long time, IEO investors made a huge profit from it! But there is a problem too. By seeing the big hype and success of Binance IEO, many new exchanges are coming with their IEO sale! Therefore many low-grade exchanges are bringing IEO sale either! Do you think all those IEOs are worthy to invest? Hell no! Don't fall in the scam, don't be greedy! Most of the new exchange, low exchanges offerings IEO is nothing but a pure scam, they failed to raise money from the ICO sale, so they come in IEO to scam people again who don't like to read and research!
You are perfectly right bro. I have seen a lot of ICOs that started their token sales since August 2018, and due to failure of the ICO are also coming to join the IEOs. So in my opinion, the IEO is just an extension of ICO. it's just a stupid person that will invest his coins in a new exchange with a new IEO.

ive witnessed a couple of new exchages and im surprised that they also got alot of user trading on thier site . im not saying that these exchanges are scam but new exchanges also have a potential to become a good and sucesful exchange because of thier great service . now these exchanges are also present with the new trend called ieo's . investors also take risk to invest with them so that they can widen thier portfolio .
IEO is currently trending and its the best so far because it limits scam rates by projects especially the top exchanges offering IEO. now that so many exchange has copied that , its now turning to means to generate money for both exchange and project. the fact remains that one needs to be careful and mind the kind of exchange you put your money.
One error is enough and the trend will return to its place. This method of fundraising may also not justify itself. No one knows what and how will be. Now millions will drive money there. Blind, in everything in a row. And then this system will collapse.
