Thank you for your warning. However, for me personally, it is not important because I am afraid even to trade on second-rate exchanges, and even more so to participate in their IEO.
Therefore, I did not even think about trying to do it.

that's why we need educating new comer in cryptocurrency, many friend are telling me they're got scammed by joining in scam ico from untrusted exchange, i don't want talk about the exhange maybe you know this exchange.

i don't want my friend are scammed again, that's why they are need more education about cryptocurrency, for me i just refered if want join in IEO campaign just from big and trusted exchange

Honestly, I only trust with Binance IEO even though it's very hard to join and buy the token there.
Cause if you can buy from there, that means easy profit for you since so many people always get fomo on first hour. And for IEO on random exchange or non popular exchange it's very dangerous to put money there when no one hear about the exchange or get interested with the project

i'm not interested to join in IEO from new exchange with no reputation and low volume, recently i'm participated in few IEO from big exchange like bittex, binance, huobi but one problem from IEO is many user using bots for participated in token sale and make them get all token from ieo, and investor like me are not using bot never get the token from tokensale, this is a big problem from IEO then tokensale manual from developer project

What project do you mean when writing about a failed ICO?Maybe I missed something,but personally I have not seen a single project that after the unsuccessful ICO conducts IEO.I think that you should not take part in IEO, which hold little-known exchanges. Otherwise, this is a very interesting and also profitable event.

There's always a new hype in crypto, IEO is the new hype but I doubt people will fall for it. After the 2018 crash of prices, people tend to do plenty of research before jumping on any trend in crypto. The trend will disappear soon if people don't jump on it.

"Do your own read and research". Short comment but it is life saver. As the writer said do not get hyped. We can see many useless IEO which are could cause dangerous damages on investors pocket.

This IEO shameless becomes more and more absurdly. Projects that already completed their ICO's starting to return funds to participants and getting back their allocations to conduct IEO. It is insane.

Be careful for whoever will cater the IEO's make it sure that you will not be victimized by those new exchange that caters their own versions of this new opportunities, IEO's coming from big exchange can make good chances to be succeed as we knew that they will not take the risk bringing their name inside this business opportunities without reviewing the potentials.

for an exchange of binance I think investors will also continue to believe in the investment made. but there are a lot of new exchanges that are carrying out the IEO, it makes a consideration where doubts will definitely be on investor thinking.

IEOs are a different view and new kind of breath in the crypto markets. Binance started this IEO chain and now they don't accept all token sale modes. I don't worry as much as others due to obvious reasons.

This is the fad these days. Even Binance has their launchpad now and honestly I feel like when they became popular, people generally think the IEO are great but I think that still depend on the platform. they should still do their own due diligence.

Preach it loud abd clear and everyone to listen especially those exchanges that has never built any tangible reputation in the industry. It is better risky your money in well established platforms that all these new ones.

right, joining a new exchange that does an IEO is very risky because we don't know yet how the team's security and performance are and I think only fools or greedy people will do that

At least the exchange's reputation is on the line with the IEO's. When an ICO goes scam however, Vitalik gives no shit because it is all decentralized and he never told you to buy.

As long as you join the big exchanges' ICO, like binance, i don't think you can lose much. It is still not %100 risk free but I can say the risk is a lot less than doing your own research and picking an ICO to invest.

Agree with you. Don’t see any bad and negative in IEO. For most of project it’s a chance to make a cup.
