Most likely we are ready for this. For 2018, there were enough ups and downs, and those who remained in this market will surely withstand any events that will be with cryptocurrency in 2019.
2018 brought a little profit and I agree that in 2019, too, there is a risk of losses but we all in this market risk every day and I personally believe that 2019 will be much better and will bring much more profit.
I think with these events, a bullish market is not going to be an impossible thing to happen. Even though the big whales are manipulating the market and no one knows what will really happen with the price, we have to keep our heads up and be always prepared for good and worse. As usual, we should always get back on investing.
You should always be prepared for worse, because if the market will not show any bull run in 2019, it still does not matter, because if we would face such scenario we would see another bullish market in 2020.

According to Vitalik Buterin, it was “really not so far away.” (source). If it is really close then I expect it will happen before the midyear of 2019 (I hope so). For sure this (with bakkt and ETF) will create hype to gain more investors that will later on results to lively market. I can't wait for 2019 to come because there are so much things to look forward. I hope that it will be the start of bull run.

If you knew to yourself that you can't handle disappointments then stop expecting, it will only stressed you out. Better for you to just keep an eye on how everything flows and make your best decision for that matter. Next year 2019 is a year worth looking forward to that price will recover and increase again, so don't panic anymore and take action. Preparation can start with things like buying altcoin at the cheapest price, not letting the opportunity to make money from them

Nobody knows what happen to the market next year round but for me I still believe it will be recovered soon. Yes you are right there are still chances to the market to get green next year. I am praying for this to happen.

Yes, of course, be prepared about any risks in crypto, especially with the market conditions that have not recovered as it is today, still think wisely, cryptocurrency is full of risks and surprises and we must be prepared for anything good or bad
Investment will only has a risk therefore as investor, you already know the advantage and disadvantage by investing your money to any crypto currency.
In my case, as long as you hold your crypto currency and you didn't sell it. You still didn't lose. Patience is very helpful in this process as the market will not remain bearish for 2-3 years from now.

yeah i agree with you. anything can happened on 2019, there can occur pump, dump or even a black swan event. But the question is, how are we going to take advantage when the pump occurs ? for me i have a plan of liquidating on the upm part of the martket cycle of crypto. the risk is massive but the potential reward completely outweighs that risk.
Yeah its correct that one's perception or prediction might go wrong or better. I think even if 2019 might gets worst, we still have to continue what we started. We might know that in a couple of years things would go smoothly and better for investments.
I am sure that even if all these three events occur, about which the author of the topic said, this will not lead to the fact that Bitcoin will begin to conquer new peaks, most likely it can greatly increase its value, but still not to 20,000.

This is what we mostly do since from the start. We already know how crytpo works and being prepared for anything happen in the future is already a part of the plan. Things happen today isn't the first time for crypto journey, this is only the way it make strong as it survive from the challenge. In crypto we always have to look to the best but also to be prepared for the worse case scenario as well.

You are right, because no one knows what will happen in the future so we must be careful. But in my opinion, although crypto will not go to the moon, at least this news can be a good opportunity to make a profit. Because this is still uncertain, so the hype and fud will be easily created. Jump to:
