I confess that I am very curious to know which currency your friend was trading, was he day trading with bitcoin or altcoins? I am asking about this because in this cryptocurrency market there is not a very large price fluctuation every day, and when I talk about very large price fluctuations I am saying that there is not a large price increase and minutes later the price drops a lot to go up a lot again and adding the trade fees makes day trading in this cryptocurrency market a waste of time

So your friend, how is he going to be able to day trade in this cryptocurrency market that has no advantage? even if your friend had a lot of capital he would not be able to day trade in this cryptocurrency market, he would not be able to day trade even if he learned technical analysis, this does not work well in this cryptocurrency market

I'll give you examples of what I'm talking about: your friend could spend the whole day glued to his phone watching the price movement, and at the end of the day he wouldn't gain anything, while people who buy and hold for the long term are making profits in this market , the cryptocurrency market is only profitable in the long term

The question is, can you trade while you are already drunk?
I was asked this question because I have never been in that mood before being drunk while trading and those who have been in that condition what was your actions and reaction while trading because I noticed something very hard for someone to be drunk and as well trade, do you make profits or keep losing maybe do you close your trade after being drunk.
I very rarely trade because so far I tend to prioritize investing over trading.
But about your question, I think it's a bad idea to trade drunk. Obviously that will influence decisions and will usually only result in losses, not profits. Even half asleep is not good for trading, it's the same as being drunk.

However, I never knew if anyone traded drunk. Even if they made a profit I don't think they were drunk but fine. Half asleep and drunk are the same, it affects the final decision.
I know it's crazy but I think there are really traders who can perform well while they are drunk. Have you seen the movie drunken master? The main character becomes really good at karate by the time he drank a lot of beer and get drunk. The same thing I was talking about there. I heard there's also writers who becomes very creative when they take drugs.

For some it can be coffee and alcoholic beverages. Sometimes we only need to experiment if what beverages or substance works best for us. There are drunk people who are still very conscious about their surroundings so it may be different from half asleep but I don't think someone can function well if they are half asleep.
Connecting movies into real life is never been that ideal nor even true because we know that it would really be that fictional or couldnt be possibly true. How come a certain individual under the influence of alcohol

would be able to do such things with more precise manner or more better compared when he/she isn't drunked? We know that proper thinking and actions would really be that affected. We might be having that

no emotion on this kind of state but it is something that could neither put us on harm on the time where we do make out some trades. This is why it would be more ideal and better if we do
avoid on getting drunk while we are doing trading because you cant really be that on an optimal way of thinking on this kind of state.Nothing beats out if you are really that fully aware
on what you are doing.

Why should anyone trade when drunk?

Coz its fun Smiley you never know where being drunk will get you. Its like gambling and trading simulteneously. You never know what crap you will buy and how it will end. Some people drink to trade, because they are afraid to make decision while being sober. So being drunk while trading can be a valuable experience.
I will have to disagree, it is true that some people enjoy themselves more when they have a few drinks, and while there is nothing wrong with that, there is a place and time for this kind of behavior, and drinking while trading the markets is not the time or place to do so.

Trading is not supposed to be fun, it is just like any other job, if you are lucky you will be one of the few people which loves their job and you will like to trade, but if you do not enjoy to trade there is no reason to try to make it fun by drinking, trading is so challenging already that traders cannot obtain profits even while sober, and I do not see any reason to make things even more difficult for ourselves by drinking alcohol.

I have never traded while drunk. And I have no experience of trading while drunk. Especially drunk people never seem normal. Because trading requires a healthy mindset. And in this case when a person gets drunk he loses his balance in that state. When a man trades out of balance he must lose his trade. Because trading requires a lot of attention and right decisions. And this right decision can never be taken by an unbalanced person. As a result he will definitely lose his business.
I know the risks in trading and it takes full attention so you can win your trades, so I never try trading when I got drunk. And I have no really plans to trade everytime i am in a drinking session with my friends because the risk of losing is high especially if your mind is bothered and your attention is split between your friends and your focus to trade. If ever I trade, I make sure I have a fresh mind and a healthy mindset too, that’s what should be.

Sorry to raise this topic over here, it was too heavy for me to answer all alone so I decided to share here to see some reasonable answer from those that have been in such situations. An hour ago, I went out with a friend of mine and it happens to be a drinking hall (beer parlor) where he got drunk and as well trading.

I have reason where this topic should be posted but if any of you think this topic is not at the right place then suggest me the proper place where I can moved it to I will be very grateful.

Why should anyone trade when drunk? Do you have plans to blow up your accounts with losses. It is more like I know that I am sick and yet, I went ahead to on my laptop and try to trade when I know that mentally, I am not fit to do anything. I did't even ask how intoxicated level could be but if I have taken 1 bottle of bear, I can trade and everything will be fine or maximum of 2 bottles but as soon as I exceed this limit, then I might have abuse my brain, I don't think I can look at my screen and still be confident that I can trade, I may be selling low and buying high if I don't caution my action.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
Drunk is not allowed in my religion and I don't have any experienced yet being drunk while trading in cryptocurrency, its seems not good ideas when you spent your money by investing or trading in cryptocurrency lost consciousness because you can't controlling about which one worth or potential coins for trading.
Losing consciousness during trading is a complete no-no you have to be physically and mentally stable when trading otherwise it is a waste of time, money and effort. A non-trader is better than a knocked-out trader.

With substances of abuse one only increases their losing chances. I assume many people drink only to forget their sorrows and from there addiction starts and they cant handle withdrawal and they attempt to drink more - the vicious cycle of alcoholism.

In any case, we have to remain sober and clean when it comes to trading, have a code of discipline if you want to make money. Remember that preventable losses bring the biggest regrets and dont be one of them.

In the condition of being drunk no decision can make true and a person will always do wrong things. Trading is not Easy and if a normal person very hardly get income from trading then how will a drunk person sell or buy tokens according to situation. Trading is not a gaming system for kids but a brilliant guy must look towards the profit. Once a man become adopted to drink then he hardly control himself so if he drunks regularly then how he will save money and how he will put it for investment. I don't think that drunk man can get profit and can have np such active minds to go according to market worth.

How can you focus if you're drunk? It's not a good condition to trade. I never tried it before but I know I can't do it because I tend to fall asleep if i'm drunk already. But I think it depends on each person's alcohol tolerance because there are people who seem not drunk and can still focus well even they consumed too much.

Anyway, it's not advisable to trade when you're under influence of alcohol. Even we're not drunk, we do lose and sometimes committing mistakes so what more if you can't focus?

can you trade while you are already drunk?
Under normal circumstances, I can trade crypto and lose, what's more drunk, maybe for me if I trade while drunk, I press the sell and buy buttons instead, there is an error, what's more, looking at crypto trading charts maybe it's like I'm looking at petis, I don't know what I would do if I was drunk I was trading, I can't imagine.

For me it's rare to see someone able to carry out normal activities as usual a drunkard, but if your friend can do it that's an extraordinary thing, very curious, If i had a friend like that i would see firsthand how he makes those trades, is he really serious and on target when he does it or I will look at it with a laugh.
trading is not kung fu where there is a drunken move, which is very deadly for the opponent. but when we are drunk, of course, the eye seeing the chart is not clear, and on the other hand, the brain cannot work optimally, so how can we trade in conditions like that. maybe the person who did it at a time like that was not aware that he was trading, so he was carried away in his routine, because everyday thinking about the market, seemed to be a reflex movement for trading. another possibility he is just looking for a thrill in front of his friends
That was a good one, more than 90% of the traders lose their money to the markets and this is with them being fully concentrated on the activity, so either the friend of the OP was just bragging they were so good they could even make money while having such handicap or they are so bad that it does not matter if they were drunk or not.

But whatever the case this is a very irresponsible thing to do and no one should try to imitate them, as the losses which can be amassed will be way higher than if you were just trading without being under the influence of alcohol.

Better you not being drunk when you begin trading and stop it awhile keep focus how effective moment for trading, but if your religion not allowed being drunk you can begin it after taking profit from trading or after your buy order have been filled. There are not good moment when you are in being drunk position but still active for trading.

In my personal view I think that To trade you have to sit with a fresh and focused mind. Because then you have to do various calculations and analysis and you can never do it properly while drunk.
Trading is already very risky and if someone goes there for trading while drunk then it will increase the level. So it will never be preferable to doing trading while a person is drunk
I've never opened a trade while intoxicated; it's not even a possibility to consume any alcohol at all while trading. Before one can make a successful trade, trading requires one to devote all of his or her time. Being inebriated while opening a trading position always results in losses because one has already lost focus and is more likely to react inappropriately to a trade. It's very obvious to view trading as risky; even with a focused mindset, you are still susceptible to losses, and if you open trading positions while intoxicated, all signs point to significant losses, so one's needs to learn from past mistakes.
I've never tried it either because I believe that there's a right time and place to get intoxicated and that's not when we are trading.
We all know that trading is a risky thing and it requires focus so if you'll do it under the influence of alcohol, you might commit wrong decisions which you might regret later on.
Before you do trading you have to make sure that you are emotionally prepared because it needs critical thinking and understanding.

I've never had that experience either, but I think we should steer clear of that idea because our risk doubles in doing so. I usually drink with my friends on the weekends, and to be honest, I'm still tired and can't focus on work the next day. Although my work is also very light and does not require too much energy and concentration. For trading, it requires us to work in silence and focus, if we trade in a drunken or unfocused state, we will pay dearly.

I can't trade when drunk because it will make me lose concentration in analyzing the market. If I were in a situation like yours, I would not be trading but enjoying the atmosphere with friends and would not force myself to look at the market. My feelings will be messed up if I keep trying to see the market, especially if the market changes direction, and that can make me have difficulty analyzing the market, and in the end, I just make a mistake. How about you? Can you make a profit or lose?

Yes, it's true that if we want to get drunk, we should just enjoy the atmosphere and have fun with our friends, because for some people, getting drunk is a way to release fatigue for a moment from the many burdens of thoughts and problems.
Then when trading, we should really be in a condition where there is not much pressure or thought and of course in a state of full awareness. Because trading activities require good analysis and decision-making skills to make a profit.
Regardless of whether a person is tolerant or not to the effects of the alcohol they drink, of course, it is certain that when someone is drunk, they will not be able to maximize their trading activities. I think it's obvious there will be losses.
We must be wise in our trading activities and not get drunk when trading is one of the good and wise self-management skills.

We're advised not to trade on emotions, being drunk is one, if you can't drive while you're drunk, why trade??

This is relative though, persons tend to act differently, you may work better while you're drunk, it's up to you.
I've seen madmen who have given sure bet predictions and it came out true, like not a story, I experienced it, though I was much younger then.
The lived this madman who passed usually along my vicinity, if he comes to beg you for money, he gives you a bet prediction and if you follow up, be sure to win.
The other would just walk up to selected persons and scream a prediction and it was always a win for those persons.

I think the question is in the right section though.
