Every decision we take in our daily life is gambling as we are not sure of the of the outcome of such decision just a level of certainty. I agree that its gambling in the sense that every religion believes its own way is the right way to go and its either one of us is wrong, or we are both wrong but for those of us who are religious, I believe we dont have the answers to everything thereby we live by Faith that our course of action is the right way to go.

Let us say you are right that believing in God is a gamble, one philosopher and theologian in his writing religion as a wager says that believing in God is a gamble.

Its like a lottery you buy a ticket for 1 $ for a possible chance of winning 1 million $. If you lost then its no big deal since its only 1$ but if you win you receive a million times worth of your bet.

Then imagine living your life following God in a short time for the chance of winning being with God and live in eternal happiness is unmeasurable profit. And even if there is no God yet live your life following the virtues that a believer us set then you will have more friends and people will love you and if everyone else does the same there will be order in society.

So with or without God, a believer is always on the winning side, but if there is God  they will be happy forever.

What you said is based on Christian/Islam/Judaism beliefs. You have to broaden your mind up to some philosophical topics about god and energy. I believe there is a god and that god is energy. The spirit is the breath that you take, the soul is you, the body is for you to use. The topics get deep, to deep for me to write on a bitcoin forum. Also, I have more learning to do before I can start educating peeps on spirituality.

Of course another option would be that the actual god is so obscure, that it's not part of any religion but just believed in by a single person who happened by chance to believe in the right god. He goes to heaven, and it's just him and god there, no-one else.

The Broadway musical could be about this god who's really annoying, and keeps trying to get the only guy in heaven to play stupid games with him and shit. And all the while, the guy is really pissed off that he happened to believe in the one true god, and he keeps hoping that some more people on Earth will believe in the "correct" god to end his perpetual boredom and torment so he can have some company...  

Haha yeah, this whole thread is stupid. Partly because of what you just said, you'd have to believe in ALL of the religions to have a good chance of getting on the right side of god. Also you can't just pretend to believe in all the gods (because the true god would know if you were lying or not, because he/she is an all-knowing god).

So the only people that 100% get to go to heaven are the absolute madmen that literally believe in every single god ever known.

But some gods might find it blasphemous that you believed in all the other gods too, so I don't know, I guess mathematically everyone's pretty fucked whatever they believe

See, your explanation couldn't be more legit than any other religions. From that first text "He overlaps the night over the day and overlaps  the day over the night," and previous statement "spread out Earth like a carpet" can both be true. The night and day can be in spherical motion
but not the earth, and that can also be drawn out of your post. Look, I've even drawn you a picture. So that verse can be molded to suit your needs and argument.

The Arabic word "Kura" means ball; its verb "Yukawer يُكَوِّرُ" means: to make into a ball. The Quran says that the overlapping of the night and the day makes a ball (sphere). Here also the Quran is referring to ALL MOVING, not only the sun and moon but also Earth. In Arabic grammar there is difference between the singular (one), binary (two) and plural (three or more). The reference to binary is "Kulahuma Yajreean كلاهما يجريان" however the Quran said "Kullon yajree كل يجري" referring to the plural (three or more). Since the sun and moon are just two but the Quran refers to three or more then according to the Quran all the three move: sun, moon and Earth.

The most striking for me is that Jews don't seem to believe in Hell (and they didn't believe in Jesus either). So, hell or not, who should you believe? And what happens to all the good people that died before Jesus but happened to be believing other gods? Or those that died after Jesus but never heard of him?

Good question. I'd also ask are they(who act harmful to others) really believers? Aren't the believers should leave vengeance to God and only do good to others? I don't know, I thought every religion tells about that. I may be wrong of course, I'm not a religious scholar, but I've always thought that every religion encourages good deeds.

That's not the only possible conclusion. He could be a Muslim heretic who believes one doesn't have to be a believer to be a Muslim. I just hope he lives in a free country; there are places where saying such things would cost you your head.

Thus OP must be stating he isn't a believer because he's not a gambler because all believers are gamblers which he just said he isn't.

The only possible conclusion is he's a secret Atheist that's pretending to be Muslim.

God is love first. Second, God is parent.
God's feelings about us is very well explained in the story about ''prodigal son'' in the bible.
So, nobody will go to Hell, and eventually all of us will go to Heaven, believers or non believers.
We are not flesh only but also souls, spirits.
So, when Lord of the second advent comes, and New Jerusalem came down from the heaven, all people will be resurrected, by God's grace and love.
So, it means, we are all 100 % successful gamblers, just some people will need more time.
