Gambling wasn't much of a profitable activity for me even if i'm sure that with the 2 jackpots i got through my gambling carrer , i got more money from it than what i spend on it . Gambling did bring me lots of fun , laughs and friends especially , people who shared the same passion and who loved gambling ! Money was always at second place and i'm glad that i didn't really develop any addiction to it .
Based on my experience, I have never once benefited from gambling. If you get pleasure, that's for sure. because the gamble is for fun, not for profit.
It's always pleasure because we have to convince ourselves everytime we lose that we are just gambling for fun, it's a bad move if we seek for profit when we are not really making money because most likely we will lose more than what we expected. Being wise will help us enjoy in gambling as we will be able to limit our gambling activity which would only cost us a small amount of money.As for the result noone receive a benefit from gambling , yeaaa it is just another disadvantage in the end.
You win that amount temporarily , and having a huge lost is a normal thing in gambling.
Probably almost same as OP. Where the benefits i receive from gambling is about patience. I'm a rash person in everything. And used to do gambling so spend quite alot money in just a matter days. However, now i have become a trader where my profit is greater than losing i experienced when gambling.
You have found your way to success therefore you have to focus on that as gambling is just a big distraction in your focus as a trader. When you want to earn money you have to focus because its never easy to make money, you need to be smart all the time to have a chance to be consistent and eventually in the long run you will make good money in trading.
Benefits from gambling is that you can be a richer person in very short time only if you are a lucky person.And it will give good adrenaline pump which gives great pleasure.I don't think any other benefits we can get from gambling.
Monetary wise yes you can say in short time provided you are luck one can easily make some quick money. Some other benefits which I feel is like you can go in casinos and make new friends, go in a date if you like somebody , you can go and have some beverages for free as most of the casinos provide it, easily looking at other how they play you can learn some trick from the experts.
For experienced and long time gamblers there are too many benefits that they can take and they've been aware of. Like taking the risk on their part is just easy as gambling more than what they afford to lose. But for new gamblers and just trying out their luck they should think on themselves on what's the possible benefit that they can take. Sometimes winning is the only advantage that they can but it's hard for newbies.

Winning has the tail called losing and those benefits can be enjoyed in the beginning but once the boat started to sail not according to your plan then you better get ready for the consequences. There are benefits that you can take in gambling like when you are in times of need when you need money.The problem right there is when you need money so bad, you gamble and end up losing everything.
That's a fact but we are only talking about the benefits and we can't deny that thing when we are winning that's giving us a lot of confidence and benefit so it leads us to gamble some more. It now goes to the gambler if he wants to continue and end up losing.

There's a positive side but only a little bit. All the good things you've got from gambling usually disappeared quickly yeah it's not last forever. Don't think overconfident like there's a chance for you to win after a losing streaks , you can have a good entertainment etc. it's just work for a while.
Anyone who has gambled for any length of time will know the dangers of the slippery slope gambling can become. I like to gamble but remember to restrict what I spent and don't chase losses. As long as I have fun gambling its fine. If I was to start seeing it as a quick way to get rich I would end up spending more than I could afford. If anything gambling teaches you self control.

If you gamble only to make money then surely there is no benefit from gambling but some people like me gamble to get fun and excitement with a small amount will enjoy their free time in gambling. That fun itself is a benefit but luckily if you make money, then that is an additional benefit. But if people can't control their emotions while gambling then better don't go to gambling to get fun to avoid bigger losses.

Yes, there is nothing good that we get if we do not win more than lose, there is only just throwing our money away. Maybe gambling can be fun, but if we lose a lot more than we win, that's not good either. It's hard actually to find the benefit of gambling.

I learned about how emotions can mess our decisions and to recognize when others are acting emotionally.

Well, we all had some same and different experiences in this industry. Hence as my own experience, Gambling became my source of stress reliever (as of today) knowing that I'm a past addict in the industry. I'm only after the fun and entertainment that industry gives nonetheless there a no other benefits I could get from gambling. We all have a different perspective on how gambling affects our lives. But like OP said, Don't be an addict in this industry. I've learned it the hard way, so control yourself! and gamble responsibly.
