There is money if you gamble wisely and have a lot of discipline...this means poker and sports betting...everything else is a guaranteed loss.

Very accurate, that is the sad truth that we must know before we do gambling, most of us are playing gambling just because they saw someone who are making a lot of money in gambling, and it not like that, it doesn't work that way. We could only get benefits to gambling if we are winning, you are not going to win if you are not a lucky person or the odds is with you, in short, gambling is just for fun, but could never give benefits to all of us.

I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

Yes, you are right when you say that in gambling you almost don't value money. I have experienced that also because i also gamble but not in card games. The only benefit that i could say is that i learned to control my temper. If i win, i would be happy and if i lose, i don't mind that. I try not to be sad because i lose. Other than that, there are no benefits in gambling that i could share. In gambling you win some and you lose more. Gambling doesnt bring me good benefits the only good thing is gambling entertain me every time i gamble. I loss lots of money in gambling eventhough i dont like to stop gambling because this is the things makes me happy and it is my stress reliever.
Ensure your stress reliever does not become a stress itself for you, as you play more the losses will keep rising and thus at a point of time you would realize that you have lost a ample amount of money and may be in a financial crisis if you do not stop it or become too much addictive which will be again a problematic for you.
Yes, gambling is not a stress reliever in a long run because there is a tendency that will give you problems if handle abusively or having no control for it, for me the only transparent benefits of gambling is the time when you hit lucky strikes and give you instant profit.

I feel you. You started to gamble at an early age that actually in my country teenager at the age of 15 still want to play with kids stuff. What is important is, after that experienced you have a lessons learned. Actually making money from gambling is not a benefit. It's something that, in the long run, may end up ruining someone's life. And the lessons you'll learn from gambling most of the time would also come from bank breaking losses. The best thing we can get from the gambling is adrenaline pump which gives pleasure to the people but the cost of this pleasure is too expensive. 
Gambling isn't the best if source if you just want to have an adrenaline pump. It's a costly pleasure but if you are lucky enough it's a very productive pleasure. There are other benefits from gambling that are hidden and can't be told by someone who's not really gambling.

I wouldn't say gambling really has much benefits. Though you do learn how to manage money, control your emotions and some maths skills. Otherwise, there are many other activities that have more benefits
Gambling has both advantages and disadvantages, an advantage like a poor fellow can also make money by gambling, so that improves the financial condition provided only in a win-win situation.
