now many Altcoin has a potential in the future you can choose on the list of 10 best coins in Coinmarketcap or you can invest on my favorite Altcoin (Ethereum and NEO) I choose these two coins because I think they both have great potential in the future.

For beginners, safety is important so invest in top ten or twenty altcoins only. Instead of putting all your money in any single altcoin, spread it across many top coins.

For the newbie the BTC is the best to invest and the next is the ETH because the two coins have the potential for you to earn big. Then if you have already a strategy in investing then it is the time that you can invest on other altcoins. For the newbies you have to study first the strategy on how to invest so that you will know how you will buy and earn big in crypto market. Learning is the best to do so you can earn big not learning and studying first will lead you to lose your investment. Here in crypto market you should study it first because it will be hard for you to earn big if you have a few knowledge or you do not know how you will invest.

The most important thing is how much you want to invest in the crypto currency. If the amount of your investment is less than 1000$, then buy only Bitcoin. If the amount of your investment is greater, then you can buy Ethereum and a few altcoins.

It looks like everyone here suggested Ethereum as the best for Beginners investment. I too agree since a lot of ICO is going-on under Ethereum's smart contract. From my own understanding, Ethereum price went low that is becuase people have invested their funds to different ICOs which split the total funds in the digital world. But sooner or later, Ethereum price will definitely go back to $1000+. You better HODL as much erc20 tokens or Ethereums as you can.

If i was to give advice to beginners, then I would suggest invest in altcoins in the top 10- these are safer bets- you would gain as much but the lower the risk the safer the investment and the happier the person.

I will suggest you to participate in bounty campaigns and earn some altcoins for investment. In case of your investment you should buy ETH or BTC first and start trading at low profits. Best altcoin which I know is MTC or LOC. You can also check some new ICOs for investments at bounties section of forum.

Looking what sum at you for investment. The most top it is Ethereum, BTC and so on, you can look at a top 30 on https://coinmarketcap.com/and invest in them, there chances lose will be less.

Start from a small nominal
The way to profit from Bitcoin / altcoins investments is by trading on the exchange. Similar to stock buying and selling. Given the exorbitant price plus wild fluctuations in value, I think it's wiser if you do not invest too much money in the beginning.
and you might be tempted to hoard Bitcoin / altcoins up to a whole mountain. But, this way is quite risky. In addition to the uncertainty of value and regulation of Bitcoin or altcoins in the future, heaps of coins can also invite hacking. For beginners, I think it's better to take advantage of trading in a short span of time, say weekly, instead of hoarding it in the long run

I think it's worth investing money in such cryptocurrencies as bitcoin and Ethereum because it is with such coins you can earn decent money because the price of them constantly jumps so if something is invested in them.

Neo and Monero are well suited to use as current investment assets, trading volumes on both altcoins have good growth to be used as investment assets and potentially for long periods of time.
